From Deb Daly:

I was trying to think of something that would be as entertaining to Jimmy and the Coral Reefers as the Chesapeake Parrot Head Club's "salt" signs designed by CPHC'ers Gary and Mary Lou Schottroff were last summer. Decided that "sex" in large black letters would do the trick. We were in row H of the Orchestra (sorry) and held up the signs the first time he sang the "a lot like sex" line from "I Will Play for Gumbo" - he glanced at the signs and then did a double-take (I think he probably thought they were last year's salt signs) and cracked up. Then we held them up again when he did Margaritaville - he ran over to the other side of the stage and yelled "salt, salt, salt" and then ran back over to our side, pointed at us and yelled "sex, sex, sex". Later in the song, he sang "it's all you sexy women's fault" and pointed at us. Ah - bliss.

From Wayne:

The show started at 8:18 last nite at Nissan, had countown clock like at NASA, counteddown to ten seconds then held for a while, then Walter Cronkite on the two big jumbo screens saying, Beach House on the Moon ready to blast off... no lead on group, Jimmy rocked the house, Southern Cross, Brown eyed girl, Ringlin Ringlin, lots of new lots of old. Near end of Concert he said "forget the rumors we're gonna be around a few more years". Music to my parrot headears.
