After Midnight with Jimmy July 12th
Is anyone planning to record the after midnight appearance of JB on July 12th? It will air here in NAshville from midnight until 6 AM but I will be sleeping. Can't pull all nighters and do well in surgery! I know several local stations are on the web and will be broadcasting it. I'd love to get a copy!

recording radio stations and Replay Radio
Yes, let us know which stations are going to carry it. Replay Radio has most of the internet stations on their listing (and I might be able to get them to add one if necessary before the show), so I would be able to record it.
BTW, I don't know about the other software, but Replay Radio (no, I'm not affiliated with them, just a satisfied customer) is VERY easy to use and only $30. Once you download it (free trial with no credit card required), you just pick the station, the date, and the time to start and finish and how high a quality you want, depending on your hookup speed (I use CD Quality on broadband.).
That's it. As long as your computer is on and the program is open (can be minimized), it will automatically record whether you are there or not. You don't have to set levels or anything else. DO NOT use the WAV option. Use MP3 only.
They are also very helpful. Every question I had was answered within a day and they went to Radio Margaritaville and added two MP3 connections when I had trouble with WAV.
Any questions, let me know. Try it! It is so easy, you won't believe it. They also have an editor, MP3 Magic, which is only $10 (free trial also). It is also VERY easy to use.

www.countrygiant.com will be carrying the show. You can also go to the after midnight home page and click stations to find local stations that carry it. I hesitate to try to record it myself due to computer issues. My collection of buffett shows crashed it a few months ago and we had to totally reformat the machine.

computer crashes
Are you running XP? I found that virtually all of my problems went away when I moved from 98 to XP. It's based NT and 2000 and is MUCH stabler. No comparison.

I've got the first hour and a half ...there have been a couple drop offs in the middle of the song but not during jimmy's chatter... it's really kinda disappointing in all honesty. I have the computer set to record the next few hours but I don't know that I have that much room on the hard drive since it saves a .wav first. If anyone is still really interested in getting a copy of this...let me know and I'll see what I can do.
