A1ABound went to one location and didnt find any here in Hsv... I went to the location on this end of town and found 2 copies of Word Of Mouth... gave the other to him ~ They were'nt up front Mason... they were back by the CD Jewel Cases on an aisle in back... had to dig but apparently came across the only 2 in Huntsville... :D :D

A1ABound got his signed tonight at the Mac gig here in town... I was half-lit and ended up buying Semi-True Stories and had him sign that one for me 8) 8)

Found my way into another Dollar Tree today and scooped up Mac's self-titled and "No Problem Here." Also found "Warning Up to the Ice Age" a John Hiatt release from 1985. I've got to draw straws to figure out ehich to play first. JOHN
I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now!

I think we've stumbled upon a new hobby... hiking.... fishing... rock climbing.... and Mac McAnally Dollar Tree Hunting... question is, who's going to copyright it first? :D

By the way, checked out 2 Dollar Tree's within 1000 feet of each other in St. Clairsville, Ohio. The first one didn't have any Mac CD's. Went to the 2nd store feeling discouraged. However, buried under Mozart and some black dude named Alexander was the grizzly Brawny Paper Towel Guy lookin face of one Mac McAnally. I scooped up "Word of Mouth", paid my $1 then hightailed the hell out of the store, feeling like I had just committed a crime or something.

:D This is just tooo cool.. buried treasure everywhere...

And Yes, Mason, you have to dig... dig... dig.... I know this sounds crazy, but isn't this just plain fun?

And just like Peckfins has said, you gotta dig and go to several of the stores!

We are doing Mac a favor, freeing his music out of those bins!! These CD's SHOULD not be in the dollar bin. They are priceless!!

Goes to show you that "one mans trash is another ones (buried) treasure."

Hey, Hey, good lookin (spit sista-Jen, aka island hopper) call me... we gotta make some traveling plans.

I felt the same way... I was at the register with my 2 copies and started to figit ... then she told me $2.16 is your total :o I immediately started feeling guilty ~ paid my change, gathered my bag and ran... Somehow, I'm still ashamed I bought his CD for a buck
Guess thats why I bought his new one at the show last night for $15... the whole time thinking "I wonder if in 6 months this will be a $1" ...

1st question - what's a spit sister? :o

I got all excited about the numerous locations of these finds, so I did a locater, and there was a Dollar Tree in my home town. WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Walked every aisle, and didn't see a single cd anywhere in the store. So I asked 2 clerks, and they confirmed they don't have any cd's.  So sad!

Just got back from Salem, OR where they have four Dollar Trees
and Mac was at each one of them!!

Oregon doesn't even have a sales tax so I bought up a
bunch of them; each for a buck and they are HDCD (whatever that means) All I know is that these CD's are GREAT!

If anyone wants one, email me, personally, and if you send
me a buck and a self-addressed envelope that would fit a CD,
it's the least I can do to FREE McAnally from the disgrace of
dollartree mania. Truthfully, though, every store that I have
visited have had 1 or all 3 of them that are out there, so try the stores first.

To Tiki Bar.... a "spit sista" is the same thing as being a "blood brother".... Island Hopper lives 250-300 or so miles
from me---Her "real" name is JEN and I should have written to
her private box, but I knew she was keeping up with this thread.

To become a "spit sista" you spit in your hand, and then
shake the hand of the person you want to become a BUBBA family member with. Of course, you also pledge to each other that at
concerts you promise to "take care of each other...."
and leave what happened there, there.

So far, there are only two of us in our "spit sista" club....
but, hey... it just might catch on!!!!!

Glad you asked.

But, back to the original post... it's time each of you go to your local Dollar TREE and FREE, AcAnally! :wench:

FREE, McAnally, at the DoorTREE.
Oh, and as for you, sexy Mason.... you can have originals now. Since you did try to get your own, I will give you them. send me your addy.

 Thanks for clearing that up! In my perverted mind, I thought Madonna and Britney might be spit sistas!

I might need one of each from you if you could spare them! There are a few more stores around 1/2 - 1 hour from me, but I'll phone 1st to make sure they even carry cd's before I drive out there.

I'd like to see the the Dollar Tree corporate offices as they analyze sales and see the giant nationwide spike in Mac's cd's flying off the shelves!

Thanks so much Beach Blonde for providing the heads up!!!!
