Wouldn't it be great if Jimmy's shows were available -- for free -- in the same way that the Grateful Dead's are, here: http://www.archive.org/audio/etreelisti ... ful%20Dead?
Even if they were Radio Margaritaville recordings, it's better than nothing. I wonder if Jimmy has a tape archivist like the Dead did/do? It seems soundboards of Jimmy's shows are pretty few and far between. I know he doesn't share the Dead's taper-friendly outlook to the same extent, but it sure would be great to have easy access to those shows for posterity. Radio Margaritaville could even host it.

I asked a similar set of questions a few years back... I never got anywhere with it. I sent a few emails to RM back then asking about allowing sharing of recorded shows on etree. I never got a response. A few folks here said that Buffett's lawyers were none too impressed with the idea of shows on the internet and that was that.
