Jimmy Buffett Live Archive

Wouldn't it be great if Jimmy's shows were available -- for free -- in the same way that the Grateful Dead's are, here: http://www.archive.org/audio/etreelisti ... ful%20Dead?

Even if they were Radio Margaritaville recordings, it's better than nothing. I wonder if Jimmy has a tape archivist like the Dead did/do? It seems soundboards of Jimmy's shows are pretty few and far between. I know he doesn't share the Dead's taper-friendly outlook to the same extent, but it sure would be great to have easy access to those shows for posterity. Radio Margaritaville could even host it.
Some people never find it, some only pretend
But me, I just want to live happily ever after
Every now and then...

I asked a similar set of questions a few years back... I never got anywhere with it. I sent a few emails to RM back then asking about allowing sharing of recorded shows on etree. I never got a response. A few folks here said that Buffett's lawyers were none too impressed with the idea of shows on the internet and that was that.

It would be nice though.
