Anyone able to record a copy of the Hurricane benefit?
It started before I got home from work on the west coast and I was going to order the replay at 10pm to tape it (and set the alarm every 2 hours).
However, I can't get my VCR to work (Not sure if its broke or if I just forgot how to use it).
If anyone can record me a copy of Jimmys performance (or the whole thing if you don't mind), I will still send in another $20 to hurricane relief (and you can pick which agency it goes to).
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help....I really hope to catch this show.

I have the Buffett portion of the Big Apple to the Big Easy Concert in mp3 format for those interested. I am looking to trade for copies of 8-25, 8-27 Citizens Bank- Philly or the 2003 Meeting of the Minds Street Fest show. Those who can trade will get priority obviously.

Naw---Sorry I can't do that. I have already given what I can to the fund. I paid for the PPV, so techincally if someone wants a copy---I am NOT SAYING You have to give me a 100 dollars, but think of something you have that would be a nice token for a nice jesture.

A nice gesture or a nice token would be donating the money to the phund to help out people who are less fortunate. Trying to recoup the money that you gave to the charity to be able to watch that PPV is not a very nice gesture. Trying to monopolize on someone else's misfortune, in my humble opinion, is not a nice gesture. Some people are willing to give a nice token or nice gesture for your time and trouble, to people who have lost everything. A nice gesture would be realizing that and saying that helping others any way you can is a great thing. Just my $.02.A Balding Fan wrote:To the Phund?BadHabitsAcctnt wrote:How about a donation to the Phund? Seems appropriate.A Balding Fan wrote:Will have most of it on DVD. Ive helped out a lot of other people on this site with nice gestures, and all that happened to me was I got the bottom of the shaft.
If you read above---I did not say anything about MONEY. Hell maybe you have a cool bumper sticker or something like that. Maybe you have a pint glass or two from a brew-pub not from my area.

You're absolutely right and I apologize for assuming that you wanted a monetary gesture. I guess to me, in my humble opinion, a monetary donation to those who are in need is a bit more important than a pint glass or bumper sticker. Again, just my opinion which I am entitled to as you are entitled to yours.A Balding Fan wrote:davesnik wrote:A Balding Fan wrote:To the Phund?BadHabitsAcctnt wrote:How about a donation to the Phund? LOL - Only reason why I went in there was that Denny's was way too packed, and did not feel like sitting around a bunch of stoned high school kids looking for munchies.
