How actively do you trade?

Post by buffettbride »

The option that says "C and D" is really supposed to be "B and C". Sorry for my polling-dumbassness today.

So I was wonderin' how many people are really into concert trading? It seems like it would be awesome to have such a great collection of Jimmy's live concerts, but I simply don't have the time. I know there are some die-hards out there when it comes to trading, though, and y'all have such a great system worked out.

I like having a copy of the shows I was at. That's about it. However, I have received some older shows that were really good.

I like to have the shows I went to, but not all of them. I don't really need 60+ versions of Cheeseburger in Paradise. I also have a couple of shows I wasn't at, like the acoustic shows in the Hamptons, the drunken show from Key West and a few others, because they're cool to have.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

Getting back on topic for a second....................

I started out trying to get shows I was at and then the blossomed into just getting any show I can find. Yes, you end up with a dozen versions of Cheeseburger in paradise, but there are so many rare gems you find along the way too. For example, covers like Glory Days and the Horizon Has been defeated are awesome. Also, some songs live are easily ten times better than the studio version.

I want them all!!!! I hope to have them all some day. Can't get enough.

Obviously my 3 preferences are 1) shows I was at, 2) high quality recordings, and 3) shows with rare songs in them.
