Looking for older show - Blossom Music Center, 1991

Post by GreatHeart82 »

I'm a newbie here, but thought I'd ask about someting I've been looking for since, well, 1991. As you may know, that summer's tour was when Jimmy recorded Feeding Frenzy. In the winter prio to the tour, the Coconut Telegraph asked fans to send a list of their favorite songs so he could do an album for the fans. During the acoustic segment of the show at Blossom, Jimmy told the story about the lists, then announced that there was a request straight from Margaritaville for "Son of A Son...", then he announced my name!

Needless to say, I'd love to get a copy of that show, if it's out there!

Hey GreatHeart! Sorry I can't help you with the recording, but I saw that you are in Ohio... I live in the Cleveland area and just wondered where you're at. Good luck with the concert!
I still love old magazines and Snickers bars....

I never heard any shows with requests...thanks for posting about that. Just found a show from 91 in Pine Knob, but never listened to it.

I'll keep my eyes open. Was it July 2 or 3?

1991 Shows

You're going to need a lot of luck finding this show. I've got several shows and the only one I've even seen is 1991 Madison Square Garden. Not sure why there was such a shortage of bootlegs, but there aren't many around. Email radiomargaritaville and see if they'll replay it.

Can't remember which day - 2nd or 3rd. Best guess is 2nd - I remember my brother couldn't go on 3rd because his wife was being induced that day! But someone who attended the 3rd said they heard my name again, so either day would be good.
