how to record off sirius??

hey guys just wondering how to record off sirius... can u use the computer? or do u have to use a reciever...

You have to have a sirius receiver to tape a show.

There are 2 ways to tape a show:

1) record straight into your cpu via your line in on your soundcard as a .ogg, .wav, .mp3, .rar, etc....you need a file editing / capture program to do this. Some people here prefer Total Recorder

or

2) if you have a mp3 recorder with a line in, you can record straight into that as a mp3 file (then you can later convert it to .wav, using your favorite shareware program)

you also have to make sure your sirius receiver has a line out, thus to tape a show

well nevermind then :-/ ... i have no sirius reception inside my house.. just a dead area :-/ o well
