Pay it Phorward Vine Style

Hey pholks, first time writer, long time reader and all that good stuff

Anyway, i think i have come up with a pretty good idea to get the vines moving faster and allow more people to get in on the fun. It all started after i watched Pay it Forward, and discovered i could use some of this new found knowledge to benefit fellow parrot heads.

Vines have one problem... They're really freakin slow. If we did a new version of the vine like the way you "pay it forward" it would go a whole lot faster.

It would start with the person who is starting the vine posting their name.Then, the first two people to write their name underneath his/hers underlined in a post...

Ex.
Phatty
Pirate
Parrot Head

...get it sent to them. Once they get it, they each post saying they have it, and the first two people to post their names get it. Then you just continue the cycle until Jimmy Buffett is pumping from here to the far side of the world.

Sure, it's a little confusing and requires a little more effort, but for those people at the bottom of the vine, it would be well worth it.

The simpler solution would be that the expectation is to turn around the cd (receive, record and send out) within three days. The problem is that some of the vines get stuck and never restart. At one point, someone had posted about identifying the "vine killers". I don't know that ever happened with that, but when someone is nice enough to start a vine, it's up to us to police it and to make sure it keeps moving.

That's true, but even assuming that everybody does continue the vine, if there are twenty people on it that can still be 60 days wait. Also, that would mean only twnety people get it, and since there are at least ten times more than that at a concert, that doesn't leave a lot for the people who would love to have a copy.

Now if this pay it forward style worked, you could have 37 people having it in a matter of only tweleve days. And with this one if some vine killer doesn't do it, the whole thing is not lost, and you can simply repost your name under someone elses post.

It is difficult and may not work, i'm just saying it could be worth a shot

what would be best, of course, would be for the person with the concert recording, topost it somewhere and we could each go and download it as we do with the old concerts...

isnt there some way that would be possible?
