Does that mean that the files are ready to be downloaded? If so, where is the "upload" area?

I'll ask anyone else that has tried to download this, is it going REALLY slow for you? Songs are taking 20-30 minutes to download, and I've needed to login after each song in order to download the next one.

Same here for me. The upload side of the FTP is probably set so that when you download it goes slow. I went to the download side and picked a song for another show and that was very quick. Hope that made since.~Hippolyte~ wrote: I'll ask anyone else that has tried to download this, is it going REALLY slow for you? Oh......My.......GOD!! I can't believe how long this is taking
I haven't been going non-stop, but I started downloading this last night, and I'm still not done. I have been living my life along with it, so again I haven't been going non-stop.
I'm up to Werewolves, with Margaritaville downloading now. From what I've heard it's pretty good though. So I guess it's worth the wait.

when I had that problem I had to start downloading one song at a time. I mean select one song, ask it to download, instead of high-lighting all the songs, then asking it to do them in order.comtnfish wrote:mine keeps timing itself out......
I also found that I needed to close the window with the songs in it, go back to the FTP site, go to Page, open FTP site in Windows Explorer, then go to the folder with the songs, select the next one and so on....each and every time a song finished. --it's not as bad as it sounds, but still it's a couple extra steps.

Yeah....the timeouts I was getting was when I was just trying to download the Interview......It said 20 minutes left, then when there was 6 minutes left, stopped. Then the next time it timed out right away, then it downloaded again for 10 minutes & timed out..... I'll keep trying.......~Hippolyte~ wrote:when I had that problem I had to start downloading one song at a time. The band intros went pretty fast....should be, it's only 27 seconds long.comtnfish wrote:Yeah....the timeouts I was getting was when I was just trying to download the Interview......It said 20 minutes left, then when there was 6 minutes left, stopped. I guess keep trying, as it sounds like you're starting with your first. Once I had successfully gotten one, I had to close almost everything, then re-open it all to get the second one to go.
who knows??

Downloaded one song to see if I could get it onto iTunes, and no luck. When I double click on the file (once it's d/l'ed onto my cpu), iTunes opens up, but nothing happens.gingerbreadman wrote:I think so. I thought the wma's would be better than mp3's for those burning discs, since there won't be that little silence gap in between each song.
Should be done in about 45 minutes!

That's probably because it has to be converted to aac format.jonesbeach10 wrote:Downloaded one song to see if I could get it onto iTunes, and no luck. I have iTunes 7.0.1.8 I Picked File -> Add File To Library then browsed to the wma file. The rest was automatic.

That's what iTunes did for me, converted the songs from wma to aac.gingerbreadman wrote:That's probably because it has to be converted to aac format.jonesbeach10 wrote:Downloaded one song to see if I could get it onto iTunes, and no luck. I haven't listened at loud volumes yet, but the sound is good on my computer and from the iPod itself.

Thanks, I figured it out after I posted by looking in iTunes General Help. The answer being in the troubleshooting section, imagine that.gingerbreadman wrote:That's probably because it has to be converted to aac format.jonesbeach10 wrote:Downloaded one song to see if I could get it onto iTunes, and no luck.
