Questions from a newbie

Post by lever »

Hello

I'm Matt and I'm new to Jimmy's music. I'm trying to get any of his shows on cd or mp3 so I can put them on my I-pod. Any recomendations on shows to get or any help would be appricated.

Thank You

Matt

Hi Matt,

I have no idea how to help you but is your name "lever" pronounced like the handle that you pull or "lever" like the soap?

Thanks,

Mallory

ftp://jimmy:buffett@jimmybuffett.servebeer.com
(this site is very touchy you have to enter the username and password a few times but this one is the best site i have found and has about 100-150 live shows dating back to the 1970's)

ftp://frozentundra.cs.und.edu
(this site is easier to use normally accepts the password right away but only has the 2005 tour shows and some rare tracks)

both sites have the the same username and password

Thank you. 'Cause I can't possibly call you Matt because that is my husbands name and I'm easily confused.

Hope you can find the shows you want.

I used to be able to get into servebeer with no problem, but not recently. I've never really used the other one, but it doesn't work for me when I've tried lately. My ftp software won't let me in either. Here's a thread on the issues.
