most of the trop rock artists depend on CD sales for a significant part of their income, so most of their fans try to encourage people to simply buy CDs or download from the artist's websites.

Scott Kirby's latest CD, "A Night on the Beach", was recorded live in Key West in November, 2006. It is available on his website, and is excellent.

"Trolling for Mermaids" is a pretty good live show by Jim Morris, as is the Suncoast Serenade with Jim Morris and Sunny Jim.

Otherwise, your best bet is to simpy go to shows and record your own "live" performance.

"Trolling For Mermaids" is out of print & I believe there are no plans to release it again. Try "Seafood Platter". It's also a good sampler of Jim's songs.

Really?!? I picked up a copy at one of Jim's shows last year

Seafood is certainly the best Jim Morris starter CD, but it isn't live.

Someone earlier was looking for "Mermaids" & couldn't get it. It's not on his website either. I missed the part that he was looking for live shows. Jim is working on a new live cd & has been recording his shows lately for a release this year. I'm looking forward to it.
