I love to grind whole beans and have been through all of the flavors at the local supermarket and gourmet shops. I just want to try something different. I've been searching online and, like most online searches, I'm overwhelmed by the choices & prices.

Any of you BNers buy your coffees online? If so, can you suggest the merchants you purchase from & blends you drink?

Any help would be appreciated in my quest for the "perfect" cup of coffee! :pirate: Feel free to suggest your preferred coffee makers, too.
PM me your mailing address. Just ask buffettbride.

Can I pm you my mailing addres, too
You could, or I could just hand deliver it to you in June.
Hey Popcorn,

I've been communicating with Jeanie about hooking up at the BN tailgate at CBP, too. I'll PM my home address, but hope to see you in June as well....... :pirate:

I have been addicted to Baby's Breakfast Roast since we first had it at Blue Heaven last year. It's excellent and have turned my family on to it as well.

Jeanie,

My cousin from Atlanta is absolutely convinced that these presses make the best cups of cofffee. I've never tried to use one, but think it may be my next coffee-related purchase!!
I love mine... try it, it makes a great cup of coffee. I only use it when I have the time to relax with a good cup coffee :D

Lori, that is too funny, so much in common. Usually about 1 scoop of a coarse ground coffee. I have a small grinder that I use. You have to be careful, can't use a finely ground coffee, they seep through, yuck. How about you? Kona 100% is great in there. I still have a little bad ass coffee left from hawaii :D

All these coffees sound yummy! The bad thing is that, suddenly, this cup I'm sipping on right now just doesn't seem to taste as good for some reason...... :o I do think a coffee press, for those lazy, casual days, might be a good thing to have. Anybody care to venture some buying tips, brands, models?????

Thanks! :pirate:

This is a 2 for picture.
When we were in Hawaii a month or so ago we bought Vanilla Macadamia Nut Kona coffee. This is my favorite coffee cup on a lazy Sunday morning and it has the first cup of the new coffee in it. I put it on the mantel beside a glass vase containing sand that we brought back.
From the top the sand is from: Waikiki Beach, Maui, Kona, Maui and Kauai.
This coffee is amazing......should be able to run all day now. ( I usually drink half caffeine and this is high test)

Now, why didn't I think of that. I love the sand idea, and the coffee sounds yummy.

Bfan53, the coffee site that is mentioned above has a french press very reasonable there, and if you have a upscale kitchen store (fante') that is where I got mine. I would think other stores might have them as well.

Thanks Jeanie, I'll check those sources. Over the weekend my wife & I stopped at a bookstore (as we do most weekends!) and I was looking through several books about coffee.

My attention was immediately drawn to the various chapters that talk about "cupping". Needless to say I was somewhat disappointed to learn this refers to a formal coffee tasting....... :o

GREAT NEWS!!!!!

I was at Target in MI last night and they carry Kona coffee. I think it was there own brand (Archer Farms).

Great news for those of us that had the "the coffee of Hawaii" and need another hit once back to reality.
