This is a great snack food for parties, tailgating, etc.
I use chicken (others use pork or steak, if so cut against the grain of the meat).
Marinade - 1/2 Cup Olive Oil
2 Heaping Tablespoons Lemon Pepper
2 Heaping Tablespoons Garlic Powder
-Chicken
-Bacon
-Jalepenos (Pickled or fresh, your preference. For convience I use pickled)
-Wood Skewers (Soak in water before using.)
Cut chicken (I use tenders) into small pieces. (Each Tender I get about 4 or 5).
Put in Large plastic bag with Marinade let stand several hours (I do it overnight).
Cut bacon into 4 inch stips
Roll one piece of marinaded chicken and jalepeno into one piece of bacon.
Place on skewer.
About 8 to 9 per skewer.
Place on grill, cook until chicken is done and enjoy.
