I saw this in the liquor store a couple of weeks ago. Has anyone tried this?

Tried it the other day...wasn't bad, but I wouldn't order it again. It had a slight flavor to it that I couldn't put my finger on - vanilla? oak? I dunno but it really clashed with my olives.

I bought it for the bottle (which is undeniably cool).

The vodka is...well, it's vodka, and they're all pretty much the same. But after drank it, I refilled it with Agwa coca leaf liqueur, which is a startling shade of green and look very exotic inside a clear glass skull.

I also recommend filling it with rum. Or tequila. Or whiskey. Or gin. :D

I did a post recently at my boozeblog where I used it in an original recipe, and this is how I describe it:

"It’s got a distinctive flavor- mellow, herbal, somewhat sweet, and with a borderline medicinal snap. It’s pleasing on it’s own, but it mixes so well it’s too much fun to not experiment with."

Here's the link, if you wanna take a peek at the whole thing:

Personally, I really like it. I mix it in cocktails, but also like it just on the rocks. It's flavor is hard to pin down...kinda unique, in my opinion. Booze snobs would likely dismiss it as a novelty product, but I think it's a cut above most of the stuff you find in the "candy aisle". I just wish they hadn't artificially colored it the neon green color...but they've gotta make it stand out on the shelf I guess. Chalk one up for the marketing dept. :-?

There are 6 bottles in the entire Washington State Liquor system. I have one being transferred to my local store. :D

If you can't find it locally, these guys carry it:

I've ordered from them several times and never had a problem.
