The 2009 ENCORE COLLECTION

Last year’s Encore Collection was so popular, so I just had to do it again. During the SummerZcool tour, Jimmy has not changed up the encore songs as much as he did last year. Considering Bob Dylan stated that one of his favorite Buffett songs is “He Went To Paris” (as well as “Death of an Unpopular Poet”), Jimmy has played that one 8 times this year. Tin Cup Chalice was played 4 times. Lovely Cruise was played 6 times. Trying To Reason was played twice.

One each for Lover Of Mine, Dukes On Sunday, A Lot To Drink About (as an encore), Migration, Nautical Wheelers, Growing Older, and the premiere (and only playing to date) of Beautiful Swimmers.

Like last year, these tracks are cut differently from the full concert downloads. The tracks fade up to include Jimmy’s intro to the encore song, then fade down at the end. They are not mixed into each other; each song is separate.

As always, if anyone has any problems with the files, please let me know.

Thanks again. I was initially as excited as last year for these. When Jimmy started repeating much more, it was less of a thrill. That said, it still remains a great new cut at a tour's worth of music and I'm downloading right now. Really appreciate the extra work you put in on these.....and looking forward to any additional encores Jimmy throws our way for the rest of the year.

Thanks for doing this SunLover. I took all the songs he only did once and one copy of all the others. For the songs he did multiple times, I took the copy from a show I attended, if he did it at one of those shows. 11 songs, 6 from shows I went to, 55 minutes of music. Thanks again, great job.
