I love the connection E had to my BIL (sister's hubby), who was in the Marine Corps 20 years, a Fire Fighter battalion Chief in CO. I'm sorry about your uncle and "cousin" :( :( :(

I know I'm moving into a smaller apartment for the next 14 months, so several things are staying in boxes in my garage, but I have boxed up, or thrown away, or donated, a LOT of my kitchen and bathroom stuff that I REALLY know I won't use anymore. I'm used to cooking a lot of food, with leftovers, but no longer. :(

What a nice connection that is between E and your BIL.. :)

Thanks for your condolences... my Uncle passed away back in '75, but whenever we went back to LI we would visit the memorial plaque for him in Garden City. As to my "faux cousin", we've been to his memorial as well... as have so many others paying homage to their own lost loved ones.

What's up with the 14 months? That seems to be a strange lease term... unless that is the time remaining on your current lease just applied to your new smaller apartment? Anyway, I truly hope you do not need to go through a move again next June! :o
