Good morning Bill and BN!
No April Fools stuff here.. just more packing..
Cooler, cloudy, and hoping for precipitation.
That's it from me...

My she-'keet Nicole
works at Apple Park (Apple Corporate Headquarters) where they're celebrating Apple's 50th anniversary.
Last night they had some guy named Paul McCartney come and put on a show for them at work. Must be nice....

I still can't believe he's 83, he does NOT look like it! Was Nicole able to attend?
E and I saw him maybe 10+ years ago here in Denver. Great show, but he was an HOUR late.. I cried when he sang "Penny Lane", as my late brother Dan used to call me that.

Re: Push the Fool Button WEDNESDAY @ the MSC
Good afternoon.
When the Mets moved from Shea Stadium to Citi Field, the first concert at Citi Field was Paul McCartney. I went to the show, it was the one and only time I saw him or any of the other Beatles. He kept calling it the new Shea Stadium.
The last concert at Shea Stadium was Billy Joel, he did 2 shows. I went to the first one so I can't say I saw the last concert at Shea Stadium and the first one at Citi Field. At Billy Joel's second show, which was the last concert at Shea, one of the special guests was Paul McCartney. But I did see Tony Bennett sing New York State Of Mind with Billy Joel.

Re: Push the Fool Button WEDNESDAY @ the MSC
Evidently he only played the full version of this once (08-30-1997 Great Woods) but did it in a medley as part of his “Daphne Blue and the Show Ponies” bit in a bunch of shows in 1998. This is the only video that I hit upon….
I pushed the fool button
My night went haywire
I pushed the fool button

Amazing video! That was on my road trip playlist last year. I like this song

That's pretty awesome. I saw him several years ago in Hershey. I was seated up front and it was a great show.SeattleParrotHead wrote: April 1, 2026 11:53 am My she-'keet Nicoleworks at Apple Park (Apple Corporate Headquarters) where they're celebrating Apple's 50th anniversary.

Yeah, my days of going to big concerts are over, but Sir Paul Freakin' McCartney? I think I'd find a way!Dr.Corona wrote:Wowbig john wrote:That's pretty awesome. McCartney….a bucket list live act for me that unfortunately as I see it now, the
circumstances will never Let it Be.
