Take Me to Stars That You Know Saturday @ the MSC

Post by SMLCHNG »

Good morning BN! :)

A warm day here today, in the 80's, and the mountains have a chance of snow. :P We have some chances for rain over the next few days. :D

Hanging more stuff today, mostly getting the LONG hallway organized.

That's it for me so far. :)

Good morning Penny and all who wander in!

Penny - the beef stew looked amazing! Hope the decorating's been going well :)

High 70s and two 90 degree days coming up. I'm doing a little time travel writing, based on the Siege of Syracuse. A rewatch of the newest Indiana Jones has brought some inspiration! Have a great day, everyone :D :D
Jerry...from Massachusetts. I'd like to go where it's warm! :D

Good morning Penny and Jerry.

It's 76 degrees already. I like this nice sunny weather but like The Temptations sang, I wish it would rain.

It's been a rainy, dreary day here in Central Ohio.
I'm going to be making Stuffed Peppers for an easy dinner and we're looking forward to watching the Preakness.

My wrist x-ray didn't show a fracture, just arthritis, do hopefully the pain will resolve and I won't need an MRI.

Happy Saturday.

I'm a member of the arthritis club too. The worst part is it's my right shoulder and I sleep on my right side.

Hi there! I was shocked to find a speeding ticket from Ohio in the mail. I did 58 in a 45 and the car photo was included. The fine was 155$, so I wrote out a check. The next letter was from the state revenue with a 200$ refund. The way I see it, I'm up 45$
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Bike Week ends tomorrow, I noticed something different this year. South Carolina doesn't have a helmet law and the overwhelming majority of bikers still don't wear helmets, but I saw more helmets than in years past. And if there's a guy riding with a woman on the back, a lot of the women had helmets even if the guys didn't.

In 98 I was pulled over for doing 67 in a 45 while driving back road highways in New York. A mean cop threatened me with a variety of laws, asked questions, ran my info and let me off. His mood lightened and he asked,"How was the fishing?"

Today was the second ticket I ever got.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Hi Kids!!

I am enjoying the high 70’s and low humidity in Michigan after planting a whole bunch of plants outside. It turned into a beautiful afternoon after a morning of clouds, rain, and muggy chilly weather.

Just ordered delivery pizza and am listening Radio Margaritaville while sipping rum and sparkling water on the back patio. These kinds of days make the crap days worth surviving.

Enjoy the rest of your Saturday all! 💕
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......

Bill - that is a good way to look at it!

I have never gotten any kind of ticket, not even parking...
I've been pulled over exactly once - in Ohio on my way to p/u my son at Purdue...
The cop did the typical "Do you know why I pulled you over" routine, and I said "Did I speed up too much to let that car merge in behind me? I did not think I could safely get to the center lane..." He said "NO! It was for doing 80 in the left lane!" I said "WHAT?! I never drive in the left lane!" He stepped back and asked me what kind of car this was, when I replied it was an Infiniti QX4... (mind you, he had my license & registration) he then said "So this is NOT a Ford Explorer?" Oops!! He apologized and wished me safe travels the rest of the way!
FTR, I had seen an Explorer Eddie Bauer version in the same 2-tone color as my car fly by not too long before! I guess it was that guy's lucky day!
