Page 2!
An older patron of my breakfast diner is challenged, but has good recall and loves old TY shows. I challenge him with TV trivia and sometimes he amazes me. I was going to name most of the cast in a 60's sitcom and started with the smallest part, then say more actors to see if he remembered. I said, "Ivan Dixon" and he immediately yelled,"Hogan's Heroes!"
I laughed as I didn't even name the others.

If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

I believe I'm up to date. I'll have to message the doctor in the morning. I guess I'll just be sitting here in limbo...Caribbean Soul wrote: July 8, 2026 6:23 pm Jerry - Yes you are 100% correct about where C. tetani normally thrives... I got a box of lemon poppyseed and a box of red velvet, they come 2 in a box. I like orange cranberry too but they changed the recipe a few years ago. They put walnuts in them now and I don't like walnuts.Caribbean Soul wrote: July 8, 2026 6:23 pm Larry - I hope you got your muffins!! Lemon poppyseed is one of my favorites too, along with orange cranberry. I like homemade blueberry too, with fresh-picked REAL blueberries!
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

This has been a long time coming for you folks!!!melon59 wrote: July 8, 2026 6:10 pm We were granted permission to take a partial distribution of funds from the estate and we paid off the mortgage on our land. Now we just need to get the construction loan and then we can break ground for our final house. It's right around the corner from the house we built and raised our girls. Our youngest daughter and son in law bought it when we felt the need to downsize after my valve replacement.
We can't wait to get back out in the country!

Here's the update. Main doctor's out, so I'm dealing with a different one. Said that I don't have any shots "to do." Or as I like to call it: "No shots on the dashboard." So, it looks like I'm caught up for now...Caribbean Soul wrote: July 10, 2026 6:21 pmGood plan! YAY! That had to put your mind at ease! It would be very rare to get a tetanus infection without a puncture wound, but now you don't have to worry!parrotinparadise wrote: July 10, 2026 9:05 pmHere's the update.
