An older patron of my breakfast diner is challenged, but has good recall and loves old TY shows. I challenge him with TV trivia and sometimes he amazes me. I was going to name most of the cast in a 60's sitcom and started with the smallest part, then say more actors to see if he remembered. I said, "Ivan Dixon" and he immediately yelled,"Hogan's Heroes!"
I laughed as I didn't even name the others.

Just an update of the fires in Colorado.. Sorry I didn't resize them, brain is tired.

Jerry - Yes you are 100% correct about where C. tetani normally thrives... BUT tetanus is something you do NOT want to take a chance with. Are you up-to-date on your vaccines? The mother of a friend of ours got infected somewhere (they have no idea where) and by the time she went to a doctor it was too late... and let's just say, it was NOT a nice way to go...

I believe I'm up to date. I'll have to message the doctor in the morning. I guess I'll just be sitting here in limbo...

Larry - I hope you got your muffins!! Lemon poppyseed is one of my favorites too, along with orange cranberry. I like homemade blueberry too, with fresh-picked REAL blueberries!

I got a box of lemon poppyseed and a box of red velvet, they come 2 in a box. I like orange cranberry too but they changed the recipe a few years ago. They put walnuts in them now and I don't like walnuts.

We were granted permission to take a partial distribution of funds from the estate and we paid off the mortgage on our land. Now we just need to get the construction loan and then we can break ground for our final house. It's right around the corner from the house we built and raised our girls. Our youngest daughter and son in law bought it when we felt the need to downsize after my valve replacement.
We can't wait to get back out in the country!

YAY! That had to put your mind at ease! It would be very rare to get a tetanus infection without a puncture wound, but now you don't have to worry!
