Warm Summer Breezes THURSDAY @ the MSC
Good Morning !
We not only have warm summer breezes we have HOT & HUMID summer breezes. We need soooooooo much rain while our kids up north (in PA) are getting more deluges today, while thousands are still recovering (some without power) from the horrible storms over the weekend.
We're having our regular AC service right now -- feel sorry for the tech -- we have pull down stairs into our garage attic space and she needs to get up there but at least we were the 1st appt on the list.
I'll head to Yoga at 3:30 but will probably get to the pool later this morning.
Enjoy your day.

Re: Warm Summer Breezes THURSDAY @ the MSC
Good morning Linda and BN!
Upper 80's today, but I have the windows open at the moment, as it's only 65 and a small breeze. Humidity here runs below 40% generally. Grateful for that.
Have a meeting this afternoon with my financial people to review how my funds are invested.
That's it from here.
Have a good Thursday!!

Re: Warm Summer Breezes THURSDAY @ the MSC
He went to Paris to sing this one....
He went to Paris looking for answers
To questions that bothered him so
He was impressive, young and aggressive
Saving the world on his own.
But the warm Summer breezes
The French wines and cheeses
Put his ambition at bay
And Summers and Winters
Scattered like splinters
And four or five years slipped away
He went to Paris looking for answers
To questions that bothered him so
He was impressive, young and aggressive
Saving the world on his own.
But the warm Summer breezes
The French wines and cheeses
Put his ambition at bay
And Summers and Winters
Scattered like splinters
And four or five years slipped away

You know you’re getting old when “friends with benefits” means having someone who can drive at night….

Good afternoon.
With all the hot weather we've been having, I've been going to the mall instead of the park for my daily walk. I'm having 1980s flashbacks. A lot of high school and college age girls are wearing their shirts off one shoulder like Jennifer Beals did in Flashdance.

Good afternoon PHolks!
Very hot and humid over here, too. I recently got a new bluetooth speaker...Jimmy does a good cover of Elvis Imitators
In Other News... I am hopefully optimistic on tetanus. Did a little research: oxygen can kill most of it, so if it's a surface cut (like eczema) you'll be fine if you wash your hands. It's been 10 or so years since my last shot, but they say it lasts 30+. Don't want to take any chances, though. I'm weighing whether I should stop by the local Urgent Care tomorrow.

Jerry...from Massachusetts. I'd like to go where it's warm!

It's pretty easy...Linda!Linda!Linda! wrote: THANKS! I still can't figure how to get videos posted on here![]()
Here's the link for the JB in Paris youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOkqCfzGwnc
Copy the string after the = sign: aOkqCfzGwnc
Click the youtube box (next to imgsize=box) and you'll get this:
Paste the string you copied from youtube: aOkqCfzGwnc to get this aOkqCfzGwnc[/youtubex] (Except for the x that I had to put in there for proper display.)
Sometimes a youtube link will look more like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJNiOWB2spk&t=141s
In a case like this, copy only the string between the first equal sign and the first ampersand: aJNiOWB2spk

Back a little while ago from my finance people. My head is spinning. They do a good job at explaining things, tho.
Speaking of - Mr. SPH, thank you for explaining "how to" to Linda. I was going to attempt that, but you did a great job.
Jerry - I hope it all works out for you. Seems like the last shot should be good, but you do what you think is best.
.... no leg warmers or shoulder shirts here.

With my visit today with financial people, I have to work on a list for Cameron, and/or my sister with my accounts with login's, and passwords. And I need to get my sister and Cameron as POA's, like we did with my parents. Yeah, I feel old.

I feel old too, Penny and money matters add to that feeling. The consolation is Anne will always be comfortable if I go soon which shouldn't happen since both parents lived into their nineties.SMLCHNG wrote: July 9, 2026 8:24 pm With my visit today with financial people, I have to work on a list for Cameron, and/or my sister with my accounts with login's, and passwords. Re: Warm Summer Breezes THURSDAY @ the MSC
Yeah, Cameron will be my only beneficiary. And he definitely will be comfortable (mostly thanks to E). My parents both lived into their late 80's, so hopefully that's where I'll end up.bodypainter wrote: July 9, 2026 9:30 pm I feel old too, Penny and money matters add to that feeling.
