We get upper 80s here today too, then cooling off with (hopefully) a little precipitation coming our way....
I got a school-boy heart, a novelist eye
Stout sailor's legs and a license to fly
I came with nomad feet and some wandering toes
That walk up my long board and hang off the nose
I may not be able to party like I used to, but if I take a nap, I can usually stay up ‘til dark....

Another sad loss in the famous people world... Shelley Fabares has died at the age of 82. She was on the TV show "Coach". Shelley was also married to another familiar face from television history. Her husband was Mike Farrell, best known as B.J. Hunnicutt on M*A*S*H. They married in 1984 and remained together for more than four decades.
Jerry - yes... such sad news about Dolly... another truly good person gone too soon... That heavenly band has enough talent; it needs to stop recruiting!
Penny - glad you blood was "cooperative" today and you're done for a year! And yeah, I saw the news about Shelley Fabares too.
Mr. SPH - Thank you! School Boy Heart is one of my daughter's faves! It brings back fond memories too, as Jimmy played it at the concert when we were front and center. It was the last song of the "first encore", after which he directly handed her a beach ball for singing along - with all the right words!
Bill - 3/4 of a ton?! I'd say you're covered in the "physical activity" department for the rest of the month!
In Boston with... "this caribbean soul I can barely control and Long Island's always here in my heart"

Wow! Did not know those 2 were married.
He was my favorite sidekick to Alan Alda in that show. Glad to hear the blood flowed as you wanted Penny!
Corona by day, Corona by night, any old time is just alright!
