Good morning BN. I wanted to start the festivities for my PHriend.

G'morning PHolks!
Glad to put August and all it's triple digit temps in the rear view mirror.
Hank Hill : Just in case I'm incapacitated for some reason, do you know how to start a man's heart with a downed power line?

Bobby: No.

Hank : Well, there's really no wrong way to do it.

Good Morning & Happy Linda-tember!
Grabbed my tix for Peter Mayer's Stars & Promises show this December yesterday. So glad he's bringing that show to Michigan this year!
3 years since JB passed. Where does the time go :-?
Quite a bit of treacherous weather going on around the country this week. Be safe BN'ers whether it's flooding, extreme heat, tropical storms or potential tornados.

Good morning. We're 3 months into the hurricane season and so far no storms yet. But since I moved here the worst storms have all been in September and October.

Vegas Golden Knights tickets go on sale today, I have to check the schedule again and decide which game I want to go to.

Hockey ticket has been secured but my streak of seeing the Golden Knights play a different team every year is over. However, in keeping with today's theme the game is against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Well, I'm all packed. Car is loaded with everything except my backpack and suitcase. Sarah or Cameron will be by later to help me lift my suitcase into the car. It's too heavy for me. I'm also picking up a pizza from Papa Murphy's. (They make, we bake) :D

I'm at one of our local breweries sipping on a beer and talking to a couple of people sitting at the bar. A guy came in, ordered a beer then went out to his car. He came back with a beautiful pewter beer stein, it must have been a foot tall. I asked him how much it held. He said it was $350. I asked him if he poured beer into it, how many ounces did it hold. He said he got it at Disney World. Since he was answering questions I wasn't asking, I went back to sipping my beer.

Well, Sarah helped me put my suitcase in the car. Thank goodness for suitcases with 3 handles. :) So gotta pack up the laptop, and I'm leaving around 3:00. See you later from my sister's house. :D

Yes, those "extra" handles do come in handy! :)
I was wondering how you were going to get the heavy bag OUT of your car, when I remembered you saying you are also being the "airport shuttle" for your sister & b-i-l, so they can do that as well as put it back in when you leave to head back home!

LIPH - I agree about the hurricane season... ever since my son moved down to Tampa (2009) we have been paying much closer attention to it, and September has been the worst month worry-wise! I thought your Golden Knights streak at Christmas was over because they would be away at that time? Was I wrong? When are you heading to Sin City?

Jerry - I hope your mouth spots and other issues get better, but I'm glad you stopped at urgent care to r/o strep and also the need for any antibiotics. Since it is probably viral, there is not much you can do but wait it out.

Linda - Happy month!!

Mr. SPH - another good tune, thanks!

And yeah... it really is hard to believe it's been 3 years since JB passed... :(
I know there is a gathering of way too many of our PH friends up there, marking this sad-a-versary with him.

Six of the eight games I've gone to were on Dec. 23. This year they don't have a game on the 23rd, their last home game before the Christmas break is Dec. 21, that's the one I'm going to. I usually get to Vegas on Dec. 22 and come home Dec. 26. I had to change my hotel reservation to get there a day earlier.

Hi Kids!

Happy Lindaember!!! Work has been kicking my tush as of late, so I finally decided to come check in. Toasty hot today and maybe some storms later. Hurricanes freak me out even if you do get lots of notice about them. Tornadoes aren’t my jam either, to be honest.

Lots of JB tributes and memories on the Book of Faces-hard to believe it has been three years. Friday is a day of service in his memory-I think I am going to buy a bunch of flowers, tie Buffett verse cards to them, and go randomly hand them out to people. Something small to Keep the Party Going.

But tonight I am going to sit and waste time online and impatiently wait for a respectable bedtime 😄
