Livingston SATURDAY Night @ the MSC

Post by bodypainter »

Good morning BN. I wore my older brother's cowboy boots in college. Not sure if they were Tony Lamas or not. I was in a big western wear store in Idaho 50 years ago. There were boots in the hundreds back then.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning Bill and BN! :) E and I both had cowboy boots that were identical. (Except his were a lot larger in size). I donated his and mine, cause my feet don't like them anymore.

Dogs are fed, and they're happy now.

Cameron and Sarah may come over today. Got the bird feeders filled yesterday, and pooped picked up. Exciting times!! :P

Close to 90 again today.

Have a good Saturday!! :)

Hello from me & Kevin (PAPARROT).

The ball game last night was great since the home-team Pelicans (finally) won ! The Friday night (last for this season) fireworks are always good and these didn't disappoint. But it was soooooo hot. At least our seats are under roof and facing away from the sun.

Today we are going to lay low -- not sure if we will "tackle" the beach since it is a holiday weekend. We just sent out a group text inviting a few neighbors for BYOB drinks/snacks this evening.

Tomorrow is our first Nascar race....we are surprised about what we may take into the venue....nothing like a concert....but it is the South AND Nascar :).

Enjoy your weekend -- stay safe & healthy!!!

So far the month of Linda!Linda!Linda! has been rain, rain, rain (with a little thunder and lightning just to spice thing up) but were supposed to get some clearing next week. It's Labor Day weekend, the neighborhood kids are back in school, and the leaves have started turning... fall is definitely in the air!

I may not be able to party like I used to, but if I take a nap, I can usually stay up ‘til dark....

OMG, Mr. SPH!! That was an oldie but goodie!! :o  His female back up singers were a hoot!!

No Fall here, it's still going to be near 90, trees aren't changing, and most kids went back to school in the last couple of weeks.

I'm scheduled to go to a Rockies/Cardinals game with a good friend tomorrow. Of course they're calling for rain.

Did a load of laundry today, made a pot of chili, watching the BUCKEYES! Love college football 🏈
Been having issues with a tooth for the past week, it was abscessed and while waiting for the insurance company to say what they will pay for, the tooth split in half. And of course since it's Labor Day Weekend I have to wait till Tuesday to see the dentist! But, on a BETTER note... we're closing on the construction loan for the new house on Tuesday before my dental appointment!
September 3rd marked a year since my step dad died and yesterday I was humming the song "Papa Was A Rolling Stone" and I stopped in my tracks because the first line of f the song says, "It was the 3rd of September, the day I'll always remember. Cause that was the day that my daddy died."
Creepy huh?
Have a good day everyone...and GO BUCKS!🏈🏈🏈

It was much too hot to go to the park today, 91 degrees and the heat index is 109, so I went to the mall. It wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be. I drove by the park on my way home and the parking lot was packed, there's a baseball tournament. I wouldn't want to be playing baseball in this weather.

Caught a couple minutes of the South Carolina football game & they said it was a record temp for a game there ever.

Hey PHolks!

Bill, I've got a pair of cowboy boots somewhere in my basement. Used once and never again!
Penny, Beautiful pictures!

The weather over here in Bellingham has been nice! Weather Robot mistakenly predicted rain, which didn't come luckily. I've picked up a new hobby, making cardboard boats. The tramp steamer Good Luck launched today in the pool and didn't sink :D I could not say the same about the ocean liner Calypso, which was waterlogged beyond repair so I sank it.

And now I'm just tidying up la casa since some friends from Missouri will be staying Sunday night :D :D
Jerry...from Massachusetts. I'd like to go where it's warm! :D
