Living My Life Like A Song Sunday @ the MSC

Post by SMLCHNG »

Good morning BN!

Heading to the Rockies/Cardinals game today with the former Tasting Room Manager of Lone Tree. He and E were huge St. Louis Cardinals fans, and I gave a lot of E's Cardinals things to him.

That's about all my excitement today.

Have a good Sunday!! :)

Good morning Penny and Bill.

I was reading the news online and saw a headline that caught my eye. A British-Nigerian influencer died after going to Thailand to get a penis enlargement injection. His nickname was "Tiny". Supply your own punchline.

Does that even need a punchline?

Hi kids! Beautiful day here in Michigan! Low humidity and high 70's and sun. I took myself to the movies to see "Cars" which is out for a short 20th anniversary big screen run. It was the first movie my son saw in a movie theater. It was a boys' trip, so I had never seen it in the theater, but we wore out 2 or 3 DVDS of it. It was so much fun to see it, and I think I remembered almost every line. A shared the theater with a mom and her son that was maybe the same age as Brendan when he went to see it. It tugged at all my heart strings, but I only cried a few times.

My Tigers lost in extra innings to the Guardians. It has been a long season, but I still tune in to listen. Other than grilling up a bunch of veggies and an array of carcass, not much else is on my agenda. I probably will repot the aloe that outgrew its house a while back. Or I might just sit on the porch for a spell. I love Sundays that aren't school nights.

Enjoy the rest of the afternoon, everyone!
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......

Anne had a corn plant curve against the ceiling, so cut it down and the big pot went out on the enclosed porch we no longer used. A year later she saw it sprouted 2 tiny leaves! No water for a year and it lived! It's back inside and flourishing.

Hi All!! :)

Back from the game, Rockies lost 10-8. When we left it was 10-5, so they tried. Sill had a good time!! E would have been happy I was there.

The dogs are kinda giving me the 'cold shoulder', but no problems while I was gone (5 hours). :D

There were a LOT of Cardinals fans in the crowd (a lot on the left/3rd base side). :o We were JUST about to have the sun upon us when we left. It was about 91, but a little breeze.

Our seat view.

I love this!! But I have 6 plants in my apartment that I've never killed. Turns out I have a bit of a 'green thumb'...

My Grandma (Dad's Mom) had an aloe plant in the window of their dining area. She always used it when we had any 'accidents'. :D

I was thinking about going to the Pelicans game, it's the last game of the season and Fan Appreciation Night. I changed my mind when I checked the weather at 4:00, the temperature was 85 degrees and the heat index was 94. Game time was 5:00, I didn't think it was going to cool off too much in an hour. They started on time but it was rained out, I didn't miss anything.

Bummer. But that heat was a lot. Our 90's have very low humidity.
