Good morning Penny. I have an exciting day planned too, I'm going grocery shopping.

As for the title of today's thread, I'm not a boat person. I've been on boats, power and sail, but I have no desire to own one.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

I like big boats, Larry. Going on a cruise in December. :) E loved boats, mostly the sailing kind. Enjoy the grocery shopping! Don't forget your wallet. :D

I have a six-month follow-up appointment with my opthamologist to check my right eye to make sure that a retinal hemorrhage is still in check. It was first detected about 4 years ago, and I've been going back every six months since. It seems to ebb and flow and so far I've avoided having an injection in my eye (phew!). We'll probably talk about cataract surgery again, but I'll try to put that off. Other than that, just another day of procrastination here in the Upper LH Corner.

Good luck at the eye doc today, Mr. SPH. I'm okay with needles, but can NOT imagine one poking my eye. :o :-?

And thank you for the music. 8)

Poo pick up done, and the bag it goes in is now in the trash. I have vacuumed the house, and now my hands are weak from holding the vacuum cleaner. (they have a whole house vacuum set up, and the hose is heavy, and they have new/thick carpet).

Good afternoon gang!
My adventures with boats have been a mixed bag.
I've been a bit queesy on a whale watch & a cruise. Also a Key West glass bottom boat tour, although that was the morning after a late late late night at Margaritaville back probably 20 years ago so not in the best "frame of mind" shall we say.
Did Fine on a couple other cruises & cruise excursion boat trips.

Nowadays think I'm best on Pontoons

Hello folks!

Finally got the correct lab orders filled this morning. Hoping to soon be able to make some decisions on next steps.

I went on a walk with a neighbor….a 5 mile walk. Phewww. My torn meniscus knee is not happy. Popped some heavy duty prescription Naproxen which usually does the trick after a few doses.

We are finished washing all the Carolina Cabana vinyl windows. We also washed the vinyl siding on the wall from the house into the room.

We’re done working for today.

Yesterday we closed on the construction loan for the house. Just need to get the septic design approved with the county and then we can break ground for the driveway!
After the signing I had my dental appointment to remove the remainder of the broken tooth. The root was apparently long enough for him to put a collagen patch in the cavity because it was pretty close to my sinus cavity. Lots of pain and swelling overnight even with ice packs and pain meds. I woke up still spitting bloody discharge so since I answer the phone and talk at my job, I chose to stay home today. Hoping things are better tomorrow.

Back in the good old days (or were those the good young days and we're in the good old days now?) I would pop a couple of ibuprofens before physical activity and that would seem to help. I had my left knee scoped twice and my right knee once for torn menisci. My orthopedic surgeon was telling me how bad my knees were and I said that I supposed it was due to the wear and tear from all the downhill skiing, football, racquetball, long distance biking, backpacking, etc.. "No," he said, "it's because you are getting old." I was 40 at the time! :-?

Are you ready for some football?

That sounds painful, Tammy! Good luck kid.

I tried counting boating/sea songs while eliminating Buffett and the Beach Boys. I couldn't think of many.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

"Wreck" definitely a good one!! :) I had to look up "Downeaster Alexa", as I've never heard the song, let alone knew it was a Billy Joel song. :o
