Good morning, Penny.A quiet couple meet us for breakfast. They raise Angus beef and Sam was talking about giving cattle their shots and even blood transfusions, sometimes at night. He cracked me up when he asked, "Do you know how hard it is to find a Juglar vein on a black cow in the dark?"
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning Penny, Bill, and all who wander in...
Today I've got to finish piecing together my new greenhouse. It's situated on the edge of my property, so my neighbor and I can plant similar, recently-legalized plants side by side

Have a wonderful day, everyone! :D
Jerry...from Massachusetts. I'd like to go where it's warm! :D

In honor of today's thread title, I'm wearing my tie-dye Under The Big Top T-shirt from the 2010 tour.

Hi Kids!

Sunny and kinda muggy and mid 80’s here. It will be a perfect temp to sit on the lawn mower and cut grass in a few. Finishing up indoor chores and some laundry first, though.

Roasted a big pan of cherry tomatoes, basil, garlic, and other herbs this morning. First attempt at it, so we will see what I think in the winter when I pull out a bag of them from the freezer for chili. The garden is full so I am trying to use as much as I can. Even my neighbors are politely declining tomatoes at this point πŸ˜ƒ if only I could keep a supply of fresh ones for winter…

I have been enjoying all the pictures and stories from the Maritime museum opening this weekend. Several BN pholk were honored on a plaque for the artifacts they have loaned or donated. I think I am going to go visit in February when I have a long weekend. Makes me smile to think of how this Gulf and Western singer brought us all together. I really can’t imagine life without all of you, to be honest. πŸ’•πŸŒ΄πŸ¦©πŸ¦œπŸŒ‹πŸ§‚πŸ‹β€πŸŸ©πŸ”πŸ¦ˆπŸ΄β€β˜ οΈβ˜€οΈπŸ«§πŸ’•
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......

YUM!!! I love tomatoes. :D My sister had a few that weren't destroyed from the last hail storm that I got to eat. :)

Who were the BN pholks?? I saw some pictures from there, and JB's statue (which was awesome). :D

I heard they're thinking of renaming the Nashville Airport after Dolly Parton. Somebody said if the proposal goes through you'll be "departin' from Parton".

I broke out in tears when I saw that. The FB Admin, Bob Haslett (thesurfpirate), Jeff Melia (the nautical wheeler guyβ€”can’t even remember his BN name here😳) and Bitsy (Bob Geist) all provided a ton of information, so they were honored. Bob shared the online Coconut Telegraph online library.

There may be others, but those stood out and made me so happy (and sappy).

Evening all!

I don't remember a call for "donations" to the museum... but I would recognize that hat anywhere!
Very cool that the BN FB moderators were given some props!

Hmmm... I wonder if the November ballot question seeking to reverse recreational legalization would also impact home-grown, or will it just re-ban commercial sales? I guess the answer will be in the "red book" we get before voting.
Oh well, you can always share tomato plants!

I also heard the terminal designations could be changed slightly to A, B, C, & DD

Hello everyone.....missed my visit yesterday.

Kevin & I were at a Big Top show in Bristow, VA. Bob (thesurfpirate) had his "stripper" pole and Jay & Eileen (don't remember Eileen's BN name) had their "big balls".....it was quite the tailgate.
