I shall be having that conversation soon as well. My Rep has already warned me, be prepared for some changes that won't necessarily be advantageousSMLCHNG wrote: October 7, 2026 2:44 pm About to jump on a Zoom call from my Medicare representative to review changes for 2027. Fun Fun.![]()
Pretty cool pics Rabz!Rabbitz wrote: October 7, 2026 4:27 pm Hi All,
Just back from a few days on a sheep property in the Flinders Ranges, here in South Australia.
One of the most beautiful parts of the Australian "outback". We stay in a 120 year old settlers cottage when we go there.
Look at it this way Tammy, Come Monday you'll be on Holiday doing Boatdrinks & livin' Floridays! Hopeful for you that the Changes in Latitudes & Changes in Attitudes will lead you to a Lone Palm where you'll be able to get your Fins up!melon59 wrote: October 7, 2026 10:26 am I was off yesterday, back to work todayOnly 2 more days and then I'll be busy getting ready for my trip to Florida on Monday. I haven't flown in quite awhile so I'm starting to get a little anxious...

If there's no surcharge for using CC's I'll often pay the bill with the CC but tip in cashbodypainter wrote: October 7, 2026 3:12 pm Hi ghere! We heard one of jimmy's last shows riding around today. He sounded great!
We pay cash at several local spots knowing the tip is better for the staff.
Often I'm seeing where the CC fee is built into your regular tab price, then you get discounted if you pay with cash. I guess it sounds more "friendlier" to the customer that way inLIPH wrote: October 7, 2026 2:03 pm I'm making my weekly brewery visit today. The weather is really nice so they have the windows open for the outdoor bar. I'm at the indoor bar and there are 4 people right across from me at the outdoor bar. The bartender asked them if they wanted to start a tab or pay cash. One guy said they'd pay cash, then gave her a credit card. In my world, credit cards and cash are two different things. A lot of places are charging a 3% fee for using a credit card, there's no fee for paying cash.

It's not so much the heat but the flies. In the next few weeks they will become unbearable. They we bad enough this week!Caribbean Soul wrote: October 7, 2026 4:51 pm
