We have rain !!! Kevin & I are doing the Happy Dance (which at this point in our lives is pretty much stepping & waving our arms with a SMALL amount of shimmy).

Yesterday a girlfriend & I took another local Rec Ctr (short ) bus trip. We headed into Conway, SC which temporarily changes its name to the City of Halloween throughout the month of October, transforming its historic downtown into a festive, family-friendly destination. We are more of "fall" than Halloween folks but it was amazing how much time and energy this town puts into the month-long event. Every available grass space had decorations and all of the shops join in. It was a beautiful day!

Today will be all inside with not much going on. I'll continue to binge watch the Netflix mini-series Doc which I rate is pretty darn good.

The drama continues with our former neighbors. Word on the new street is the "mom" is not listed as a resident on the new lease so she is being removed. Not sure if this is accurate but if it is I don't know where she will go on short notice with 9 kids. But, that's not our problem...we just hope she doesn't convince the former property management co to allow her back across the street from us .

YAY!!!! I don't have to report for Jury Duty on Monday!!! Guess they don't have ANY trials, because over 300 people don't have to report.

I don't think I'm going for a walk today. With all the rain we're supposed to get I won't be going to the park and I don't feel like going to the mall to walk indoors. People here can't drive in good weather, I'm not driving anywhere when we might have more than 4 inches of rain.

So... I'll wish Ken & Lynn "Happy 10 day countdown Day" instead!

Been a busy few days... my spare time has been spent setting up my phone the way I want it. Luckily, everything transferred fine except the last few months of WhatsApp... (so I am missing a few pics sent by my German relatives, but at least they are on my old phone's SD card and also on my laptop) and one ringtone that I had to re-download from Zedge. The fun part was reassigning them (and my text notifications) to the appropriate contacts!

Glad most everything transferred! I've never used WhatsApp or Zedge.. Don't even know what Zedge is. I'm a very basic phone user.
