Whatcha Got Cookin' Wednesday @ the MSC

Post by SMLCHNG »

Good morning BN! :)

Today at 11:00, I have a Notary and 2 witnesses to watch me sign my Will and other documents.

We have rain falling this morning. Supposed to be on and off all day. :)

Have yourself a good Wednesday!!

Good Morning Penny. Good luck with the Notary.
I reflect back to the days when I was a young pup I'd hear my Dad wandering around the house singing the chorus line of Hey Good Lookin', the Hank Williams hit song.
We're dry here until Thursday night, but temps are down 20 degrees & are going to continue to decrease a bit throughout the weekend but the sun will pop out Saturday & Sunday.
Will you be going to the DU hockey games against Michigan this weekend Penny? I see they are raising the NCAA champ banner Friday night. Sure wish I could have found a way to see these games. Sounds like a good number of Michigan people are making the trip, plus I know a number of Michigan people have transplanted to Colorado over the years.

Enjoy your Hump Day everyone!

Good morning Penny and Ken.

The Hurricanes won 4-2 last night. One of the guys who scored has now scored a goal in 5 consecutive games. He scored 11 goals all last season.

No plane on Wednesday.... if nothing happens in the mean time, we're probably gonna fly down on Friday no matter what.

And the original:

And something a little bit different:

I may not be able to party like I used to, but if I take a nap, I can usually stay up ‘til dark....

And all went well with the Notary and witnesses. They were nice, kind, and very pleasant. :D They were on time, and it only took about 25 minutes. :D

I'm having a (very) late lunch at Bohemian Bull. They have the patio open and the roll-up garage door-type windows at the bar are rolled up. It's 83 degrees.

Hi there! We drove an hour for shrubs 50% off at Home Depot. They were out of the ones I wanted. r really did not want to dig in the dirt anyway. I searched through 2 stores for my size jeans and found nothing. I did score a 3$ hose connecter at Harbor freight, so woo woo.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Sorry you did not find the shrubs you wanted... but it sounds like you were not too disappointed about not playing in the dirt!
But that connector probably cost twice that in gas to get it!

Penny - glad your notary experience was easy-peasy!

Larry - It sounds like someone finally showed him how to shoot!

Mr. SPH - Why do I hear Tom Petty in my head... Safe travels whenever that day may be.

Me too!!! :D I looked at the witnesses addresses and both were close'ish to my apartment. I gave the notary a map of the grocery store (where Cameron works) to my apartment. I think the 2 witnesses left their cars in that parking lot, and the Notary drove them to my driveway. :D (Kinda like I actually suggested they do). :D

The guy on the Hurricanes with the 5 game goal scoring streak? He's a 4th line center who got moved up and is getting more ice time because they have a couple of injuries. He's kind of a streaky player. They got him in the 2024-25 season at the trade deadline in March, 2025. He scored on his first 4 shots on goal then I think he only scored 3 or 4 more goals the rest of the season. He's a really good defensive player, he kills penalties and he's great on faceoffs, that's why they got him.

Oh, well, an increase in playing time can certainly help!
