It's supposed to be sunny with a high temperature in the mid 80s today, it's about 75 degrees now. Tomorrow is a different story, rain and a high of 62.
Good Morning Penny & Larry & BN'ers to come!
We're projected to hit the freezing or near freezing mark early tomorrow morning but we'll get sunshine on our shoulders so I'm good with that!
Today I will celebrate Nat'l Bosses Day for myself.
That's all I've got for now.
Enjoy gang!
Corona by day, Corona by night, any old time is just alright!
Hi there! It was widy enough last nighthat a a huge wind chime was baging and bonging enough I couldn't sleep. I got out of bed, dressed, went out to the gazebo off the deck and took it down. What a clatter it made! Anne can sleep through most thunderstorms, so this didn't disturb her.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
In my travels today I saw a woman with a puppy. It was the cutest dog but it had a strange pattern on its coat, black, grey and a little white. I asked his human what type of dog it was, a mini bernedoodle. A mix of a Bernese mountain dog and a miniature poodle. He came over to me with his doggy smile so I had to stop and pet him. His human was cute too. If I was 50 years younger, a dog like that would be a babe magnet.
"MauiDeb" has one of those dogs, Larry. And so does Misty (Family friend of E's who used to live in IL, and lives here now). I just like the Bernese Mountain dogs, which is what my sister has.
I survived the work week and am thrilled to be on the couch in jammies and covered with a blanket. Like Ken said, they are predicting a frost for us tomorrow morning. Probably will be a touch irritated with myself that I didn't pull out the last few annuals, but that will maybe be a tomorrow problem. I have slacked on cutting the grass because it has been cool and cloudy and spitting rain. That hopefully will wait until Sunday when it is rumored to be sunny and over 60 degrees. I will be busy putting the patio furniture in storage and taking down the tiki bar signs. The barstools and patio rugs go to the basement and the grill gets moved to the spot near the door. As much as I don't like winter and the grey, I am pretty much ready to have everything packed up so I can begin hibernation season.
Kinda excited about the Brewers making it to the Big Show. Kinda hoping Cleveland joins them. Bob Uecker would be thrilled, I am sure
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......

I hope they will make it, too!! And hoping the hibernation isn't too grey!!
Going to the couch to watch DU Hockey. They're raising their #11 Championship banner. The most of ANY team in College hockey team. Since I only have Saturday Season tickets, I can watch the other games (Friday's and playoffs).

Well, since most of us don't have a boss, I didn't make that the title of today.
Ken & Penny - I celebrated my "boss" (aka ME) yesterday too... with breakfast out, and an adult libation before dinner!

Our neighbors have a mini-bernadoofdle named Daphne... she is not quite as "mini" as the breeder's set expectations led them to believe. But she is a big furry goofball and very well loved!

Very cool that the TV viewing is a part of your limited ticket package! Glad you got to see them raise their banner! And ENJOY the game tonight!

It's not free, but only $100, so well worth it. I WAS going to go to the game tonight, but the friend I was going with had to cancel earlier this week. And I don't go alone. So I'll watch it on TV.
