Happy Birthday Jim!! Enjoy!! TGIF!!
Our morning fog has pretty much just burned off, Sunny skies forthcoming. Don't know what I'm doing for sure later but getting my butt outside as soon as I call it a work day!
Corona by day, Corona by night, any old time is just alright!
This is supposed to be the first weekend this month without rain. I'm doing laundry now so between the washer and dryer I'll be occupied for a couple of hours.
Had a great chair Yoga session this morning at the library and will be heading back later for a craft session.
Kevin had a dentist appt.....uhoh.....needs some new fillings & a crown....$1500 out of pocket .
But, we are organizing a trip to Sarasota to stay with Mitch (was the 5o'clockPH or something like that here back in the day) and Bets at the beginning of January. We'll drive and find an Airbnb 1/2 way for going & returning.
We think our lawn guy is mowing, etc for the last time of the season. But there's no definite on that. Today is a beautiful day. The kind we'd love all year round but we'll take what we have !

Linda - I *think* Mitch was "Five O'clock Parrot" if memory serves. E and I got to meet him and Bets on one of our trips to FL. Tell him hello from me!
What a beautiful day. I went to the park, brought my iPod with me and when I got there, no ear buds. I left them home. To paraphrase one of my least favorite tv shows no music for me.
I saw a billboard on Hwy 17 for Bojangles chicken, 2 steak biscuits for $5.00. That must be some high quality meat.
TGIF is right, Ken! 'Tis the season for apple cider donuts. The Stop n Shop ones taste amazing heated up in me oven In Other News....my living room has become a nursery apartment for my tropical hibiscuses. They've been coined as "award winning" by me, jokingly.
Jerry...from Massachusetts. I'd like to go where it's warm!
A McDonald's assistant manager we have befriended has homemade tattoos on her fingers, which I take as a hard life. She was visiting with us and I told some inking stories. She pointed to a spot on her hand that was a pencil wound. I commented, "A misspent youth."
She said," No, I was 40 in jail."
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
Not much going on here, there's a cool nip in the air and I think the best thing for me to do to combat it is to go looking for some apple cider donuts...
I may not be able to party like I used to, but if I take a nap, I can usually stay up ‘til dark....

When I was still working they occasionally had a farmers market in Rockefeller Plaza. A couple of times they had it in the fall and one of the vendors had apple cider donuts, they were delicious. The supermarket where I shop has apple cider donuts in the bakery department this week but when I went shopping Wednesday they didn't have any. As much as I like them I'm not going to make another trip to the store just to buy donuts.
