2 second gap

Post by olemissfin »

In my trading in the past, people want cds burned without the 2 second gaps between songs. What is the preferrence here for cds to trade?

Take out the gap - it sounds so much better when it recorded disc at once without the gap.

How do you get rid of the gap then?
I am using the newest version of Windows Media Player to burn and sort the songs once I have recorded them and cut them using CD wae editor.
Any help would be appreciated.

I know the DAO but cannot get my WIndows media player to format.
Any other suggestions on how to get it done?

I've had the same problem using Windows Media Player to burn cds. The last concert, I just used a different burning program. It's called hp RecordNow. It works very easily. The only thing I don't like is that you can't title the cd. Oh well.... Doesn't really matter. You still have to convert the .wav to mp3 format. If anyone knows of anything better or easier, LET US KNOW!!

Dont Use Windows Media Player, Music Match or any of those other free programs

Try using either Roxios Easy Cd Creator or Nero

I've litteraly burned thousands of shows for myself and others and the easiest and best software for audio CDs is Nero in my opinion. Supports DAO and you can burn from either WAV or MP3 files. Also supports CD text. PM me if you need any help.

Thanks for the info. I will have to try my other program and see if it works. I really do not mind the gap as my kids talk so darn much I never get to hear anyway.

Thanks for all the info.

I use MusicMatch Jukebox to Record and Burn, and it works great. Of course i do have the Pro version not the free version.
