When I record a show through Windows Media Player it seems to "skip" quite a bit while recording. The quality of the feed seems higher versus Real Audio, but Real Audio seems to be more of a consistent feed.
Has anyone else had this trouble? I have just been recording using RA and accepting a lesser quality for a more reliable feed.
Any help would be great! Thanks!

Re: Question about recording shows
It depends on the ability of your computer. RM is usually more compressed and may be less of a strain on your system. Since it takes less, it needs to refill its buffer less, etc, etc, etc, leading to less skipping. If WMP skips alot just by playing, then odds are its setting are funky - try playing with the buffer size and etc. If it only does it when you are recording, then your system can't handle playing and recording at the same time. hope that helps,Fool Button wrote:When I record a show through Windows Media Player it seems to "skip" quite a bit while recording.
