I agree the Monserrat DVD is great and Jimmy sings new lyrics to Volcano to an audience of "stiff" Englishmen. One shot in the balcony shows a group of obvoius Parrotheads jamming along to Jimmmy. They brighend up the show

Did you people hear the same concert I did in VB last night? The "best" concert? The "best" renditions of songs? I was stone cold sober (maybe THAT'S what MY problem was)....but omg....Southern Cross was HORRIBLE! I mean, Clint Black has been off key in other concerts I've heard, but last night both he and Jimmy weren't sounding all that great. Most of the duets sounded real bad. And Clint Black is a SINGER???? My understanding was that Clint was to fill in for Fingers....Now, I don't know about you, but I sure didn't hear much of a harmonica last night. (Which I WILL give Clint some credit for...he plays the harmonica better than he sings)
btw....there were up to 7 people in the chat room last night I created on aol. We had a great time...if you're on aol, come join us some night as we listen to RM and have our own cyber concert. You can find us in category "Places", room name "RadioMvilleConcert". (FYI, others in the room were groaning during the duets, too)

I don't think it was the speakers... I play RM daily on my 'puter speakers (they are Boston Acoustic so they are mid-priced) and it sounds fine. For concerts, I hook the feed to my wireless speakers... (much fuller sound).. and Clint Black's singing STILL sounded horrible! If it was 'net congestion' it didn't seem to affect other parts of the show.

I couldn't hear the whole concert 'cus I had to go out at 9... BUT... in that first hour I heard almost NO harp and I DID get to hear Clint ATTEMPT to sing "Come Monday"! I agree it was terrible! Tomorrow I should be able to listen the entire time. Hope it's better!

Plus, I have really dinky speakers on my computer. When I bought it two years ago, I went for the cheapos because I figured they would just be used by my kids for sound effects on computer games. Who knew?!
