Wow, I missed a lot of discussion last evening after starting this simple (I thought) thread.......
Just thinking, where else but BN can a conversation go from "favorite pizza toppings" to "best Austrailian beers" to "date night on Nantucket"????
You guys are amazing........

I am guilty of enjoying a wide range of discussion on most things . . . indeed.

(can't talk about pizza without bringing up Victorian Bitter or the Chicken Box - come on!)

pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, (green pepperon my side)
We usually get ours from Papa Johns if it is for home or at our Pizza Hut Bistro if it is eat in.
If I get pizza while working it is at a local pizza joint "Pizza Sams"
Our Pizza Hut changed over to the Pizza Hut Bistro and went from a miserable place to eat to a darn good one.

Hi SGH,
Last September while in Newport my wife & I stopped at a pizzeria up on Broadway for lunch called, I think, A-1 Pizza.....
Great pizza!! Do you know of it??????
In fact it was close to a liquor store on the same side of the street where I picked up my first 6-pack of Landshark....
Have any other personal favorites around Newport for us to try next visit???

I know where it is but haven't had their pizza. Mama Leone's on the rotary by Connell Highway does good pizza, too. Most of the time I get pizza at the other end of the island. North End Pizzeria and Chase's Deli are both good.

Toppings: Italian sausage and mushroom
Chains: No good ones around here, so we buy the California Pizza Kitchen thin crust
Although I am going to try the famous Vinnie Van Go Go this week at City Market . . . have been told it's AWESOME!

Don't really like any of the pizza chain pizza. Got a local one called
"Original". Make their own dough and sub rolls. My favorite is pepperoni.
I was in Germany a few years back for a few months and was desperate
for some decent pizza. Found a little place in Germersheim called
"Pizzeria San Remo". It was great. The guy who ran it was a real
Italian and took great pride in his food. He also gives a free shot of
Jagermeister with every meal. Who could ask for more?
