I was one of those 50 (and many more)women squatting on the side of the hill in full view of many people. I figured it's a testament to how much I love Jimmy that I'd rather do that than miss one minute of the concert waiting in line for a bathroom.

Pittpirateman-don't expect to do any tailgating at Polaris. It's a no-no. My brother works there and he said they do not allow it! For what its worth.

I have been to more than 20 shows. The most intimate being the Star Theatre in Merriville, Indiana around 1982 the best being Alpine Valley 2000. Unbelieveable. Everyone had a blast. And by the way for all you FIP's out there, it stands for F------ Illinois People or Friendly Indiana People. By the way I am from Michigan, where all you Illini come to be Friendly wannabe's!!! Sorry but I haven't met one of you that isn't an arrogant idiot!!!

Joey, at your age you shouldn't be making idiotic generalizations like that. With apprximately 11 million people living in the state of Illinois, a few are bound to be friendly, dont you think. And for the record, I do go to Michigan to play. We own a summer house in the beautiful southwestern corner.

Well, I've jumped feet first into the water. The show Saturday was my(and my 4 friend's) first. Being a former(?) Deadhead, my summers have been a little empty the past 4 years. I must say, the show even exceeded my high expectations. It was amazing to see the same kind of love for the music and atmosphere that I've missed so much. Add 5 more converts to the list!!

joey- I dont own a waverunner. I own a 19' Bayliner. There is a similarity here though. We boat owners get annoyed by the little annoying waverunners, just like we real parrotheads get annoyed by the little whiny non-parrotheads such as yourself.

Whatever, I will keep you posted on the further adventures of your captains and sailors from the great FIPdom! I will pay close attention to see if there are any normal ones around! Not likely, haven't seen one in about 20 years!!! Also a 19' bayliner with a FIP at the helm is almost as annoying as a waverunner -- get a real party boat son.
