Let me add my THANKS too! 8)
It's GREAT! :D :D :D :D

btw ... The funny thing was it took going upstairs to use the bargain-basement $58.00 Best-Buy-special GE DVD player I got for the kids to see it, as it didn't work either on my $$$ DELL  computer OR the more expensive VDD-VCR combo in my family room! :o
Goes to prove that sometimes cheaper may be better!

When it comes to VCD's - yes :D As long as you have the right codec on your Dell you should be able to play it through your software DVD player.

Well ... it doesn't, and even if it did play on this POS computer it would sound like a concert alternating between Barry White and Alvin & The Chipmunks  since the useless Tech Support at Dell  STILL cannot get my sound working properly. :x  :x

For sound problems, try defragmenting your hard drive. I had similar problems before and that fixed it for me.

Hey thanks for the tip. :D I'll try that! It's definitely worth a shot, and sounds way better than the latest "fix" Dell-Hell  wants me to do... un-install and then re-install my operating system! :o
