i find that it often depends on your browser. some ftp sites let you in without any passwords, etc., when you use firefox as your browser. i just discovered this recently. for the jimmydreamz ftp site, it asked me once for the password, etc., and it just zooms me in right away without problems. try it.
my problem is that IE tells me it cant access the site, that perhaps it is busy...for days now....do you think i need to use a different browser? I'm not sure how to do that as i'm on aol

maybe you got hold of a bad firefox. try downloading from a different site. i did a search for "firefox." found one and downloaded it. i didn't need to turn anything off, etc. it just worked swimmingly. hang in there. today's the day you get the show. or, if you have the aol instant messenger program, contact me. i'm doctorduk. i'll shoot you over the entire show.
