Of course not. Just saying I was surprised to hear from an Aussie that people don't drink Fosters there . . . I thought they did . . . never been; so I don't know.

I guess it past Victorian Bitter some time last month.

Only people here that would drink Fosters are the American tourists

Blue Tongue would be my beer of choice - NEwcastle (australia) owned and operated and sponsors of my mighty Newcastle Knights 8)

Down boy. She's married.

No pineapple, no anchovies. Beyond that, pretty much anything goes. Sausage and green peppers are my favorite.

As for chains, they're all kinda the same to me. I prefer papa john's if I have to, but I have four or five great places that deliver to me, most until 3am. The place I used to go to as a kid (West Main Pizza, conviently located on West Main St.) just reopened with the original owners, so I'm looking forward to going there again soon.

they "think" it is the local. There is one BNer that tried the local and loved it - Cuervo! So not everyone does that! I think it can be attributed to the advertising (Fosters is actually brewed in Canada) and Outback restaurants having it as their "aussie" beer ... when it is not ...
