Agree!! Gonna "rebuild" my 5 year old SIlver with stainless parts this summer. She's all worn out. Mrs. TR suscribes to a gourmet cooking magazine and they rates the Weber Silver the BEST VALUE of all gas barbeques on the market today. Tonight we barbequed salmon and veggies :D

It was going to be a burger & milkshake night here, but it was a bit too windy. Bad thing about charcoal.....especially on a wooden deck!!!!!!
So it was a dino nugget & milkshake night!!!!!! (at least for my 3 yo)

Yum, salmon and veggies.....I thought by now I'd be putting new stuff on mine too, I am amazed at how well this one has held up. They are definitely worth the extra $$$. The salesman warned me, once you have a weber, you'll be spoiled, and I am.

I'm still clinging to my old Weber kettle charcoal grill...... :o

All the neighbors have fancy gas grills and they sometimes give me nasty glances when my charcoal smoke drifts in their direction......

To me, if you aren't rushed for time, part of the fun of grilling is having a drink or two while preparing the coals...... :pirate:

Living at the beach I've gone through a grill every year or two due to rust. So I got the Weber Genesis for Mothers Day this year. I love it. Somebody has used it almost every day since.

I'm with you, WEBER rocks!!!

BR, can I come over for dinner, that looks really good.
Amen!!!

I have a 22" Weber Charcoal (with ash catcher) that I've had 5 years (and just had to replace a wheel hubcap on)
I actually smoke boston butts on the Weber indirect and have no desire for a smoker unless I need to start cooking larger quantities.

I have a Smokey Joe that is vented correctly that I've had about 8 years

I also have a few small propane grills. I use them for simple tailgating if I don't want to mess with disposing of coals.

Thanks for sharing the pics, y'all have some awsome grillin' rigs!

Not sure it takes THAT much more time. Start the coals in the chimney starter and then prep the ingredients. Time your coals are ready, everything else is too. Tastes better too!!!

Invite 'em over. They won't mind as much. 8)

Come on, no BIG GREEN EGG owners out there??? We love our egg. It will cook anything and is self cleaning. The eggheads are as dedicated as Buffett fans let me tell ya.
Pulled pork, throw a bunch of pork butt on and let it cook overnight slowwwwly. To die for.
Pizza, smoker, pies you name it, its been done.
Joetown hope you grow your own jalepenos for those poppers. We can't make enough of those wonderful little green delights. You have quite the setup.

I love summer cause the hubby loves his green egg (maybe as much as me) :o and is always game to cook as l lounge in the pool having a cold one. With all the cooking on the egg there isn't much for me to do. Most of the sides I can get done early in the morn. That leaves that much more time for poolside service from my pool hubby.

Never heard of it, so looked it up! Looks cool! :) Can't have 'charcoal' here in the city of CO where we live, though..

The real barbeque is just a plain flat piece of steel ... with bricks either side holding it up and a stack of wood underneath on fire!!!
