I HAVE tried it (always my rule for everyone ;)) ... nope, not so much. Makes it worse that many many years ago, I worked for my MIL (extra $$) and her catering business. One lady we served it to for a dinner party , and wanted it peeled (tato peeler)before serving. I spent 2 hours doing that.

Have you ever had the super fresh straight from the farmer thick ones? I didn't think I liked them thick until my favorite farmer in the farmer's market had them. It made a world of difference!
