I drove down to Pine Knob from Chicago and it was well worth the drive. THis is definately a show for hard core parrotheads. If your one of those people who only owns Songs You Know By Heart you won't know too many at this show! 2 thumbs up to Pine Knob...definately the place to see Buffett. Hope to see some of you people in Alpine Valley or Chicago! Finz Up!!

There is no such thing as a bad Buffett Cd. I own them all and get in the mood for one or the other. The more you listen to one CD, the more you like it.
As for "Off to see the Lizard", one of my favorites start to finish. The book was cool too (Tales from Margaritaville) with many of the stories based on the songs from "Lizard".

glad i could be of service to you and thanks for the compliment. i would have posted this yesterday, but just after i posted the above we got hit with a massive storm and i had to pull the plug. we lost total power at 6pm and got it back at 1am then lost it again around 4:30 this morning. the 2 homes on each side of us were hit by trees and need roof work. fortunately, we were spared...i thank my lucky stars.

northeast indiana. no waterspouts here, but tornadoes within 15 miles. my mother-in-law said i was nearly struck by lightning while doing some emergency cleanup. there was flooding though, so that was a bonus. after the heavy stuff had gone and a rainbow came out, some of the neighbor kids (barefoot naturally) were "stomping around in those puddles"...i had to join in with them.

scratch my back with a lightning bolt...
