Good morning BN. I think of this song when getting my blood pressure taken as a relaxation tool to lower the bp.

Good morning Bill and all who wander in. Love this song! On another note... I was thinking of getting a puppy. It's a bit quiet around mi casa right now, and the only pets I have are fish. Mum would like a husky, golden retriever, or an Alaskan malamute. So, my early morning was comprised of looking at pictures of dogs...
Have a great day, everyone

Hello Friends!
It was a rather productive day at the Carolina Cabana yesterday. Kevin & Scott got one of the large ceiling racks hung in the garage while I hosted 8 ladies for coffee. It was a great time - lots of laughs, making new friends and catching up with others. Each one of those racks holds 800 lbs of "stuff". We aren't loading up the first one until the 2nd is done. But, we did manage to move the freestanding shelves around that we brought along. We will probably sell one or 2 of those when everything is concluded. They are massive, industrial type that Kevin got from the beer brewing supply store he worked at (a part-time job to supplement his beer brewing sessions). We already have much more room to get in, out and around both cars so we're anxious to see how much better it will be with that 2nd ceiling rack.
Today we thought would be a beach trip day after church. However, Kevin is still sleeping so the 10:45 service is probably not going to work. And....the skies look cloudy right now

.
Enjoy whatever you have going on !

Good morning.
I'm not much of a basketball fan but St. John's is one of the schools I went to and they're playing in the second round of the NCAA Tournament today, maybe I'll watch the game. Two other local schools from my Long Island days, Hofstra and Long Island University, were in the NCAAs but they both lost in the first round.

That's a lot of heavy work, Linda!

Hope the skies clear up for you!
I'm not much into college basketball either, Larry - Colorado usually doesn't have teams that do well enough.
Nothing new to report here. I pared down my NICE crystal and glasses, and will just keep the other stuff boxed up in the garage. So more bubble wrapping those AND my nice stoneware/serving dishes, too.
Not quite as warm today, but still nice out. Just a little cloudy..

We slept in this morning, had a late breakfast

. Did laundry and not much else. Being lazy until it's time for Bryan to head to the hospital in Columbus for another sleep study as a follow up since he's had the Inspire device implanted.
Happy Sunday!

Hi Kids!!
I have been sucked into the John F Kennedy jr series on Hulu. It has been interesting to watch and check Google to double check history. I can’t even begin to imagine what it would have been like to be in a family like the Kennady’s.
Not really ready for the work week, but it is a four day week then a week off. I sure do enjoy the school schedule!
It’s 6:30 here—another half hour and it will be a respectable bedtime
Enjoy the rest of Sunday, all!

But my husband went to St. John's, and both my son and his wife are Purdue alums, so I follow March Madness for those teams only.
Because of the way the brackets were set-up, if they both continue to win, they will meet for the title!
I also have always liked the UCONN women, from living for a while in CT in the town next to Jen Rizzoti

I always imagined that Dukes was a particular bar or restaurant, probably somewhere tropical.
Imagine my recent disappointment when I discovered that it is just a chain restaurant.
McDonalds on Sunday vibes for me now.

The original Dukes isn't that old. It was established in 1992 and named for the great suffer. I'll stick with the myth of the song like Margaritaville.

Of course!
I don't follow any of the professional teams.

I have neither, but several of my friends have Goldens... they shed - like a
LOT - so be prepared!
I think Huskies and Malamutes are beautiful, and if your goal is to get out and get some exercise, they will do the trick! They love the outside, especially in the cold! Have fun choosing!

My grandfather turned down an invitation from a wealthy oil tycoon friend for a party honoring J F K's father, Joe Kennedy. This was during the depression which wiped out my grandfather. My grandmother wanted to go, but grandad refused to have anything to with that rum runner.

I've never been, but I see they only have 2 locations in Hawaii, and 3 in California.. Decor and menu looks good.

St. John's did their best to give the game away. They were winning by 14 points with 8 minutes left in the game. Then it was tied with 14 seconds left and St. John's had the ball. Apparently there's a rule in college basketball that if you commit 6 or fewer fouls the other team doesn't get a foul shot. Kansas only had 2 fouls in the second half so when St. John's took the ball inbounds, Kansas fouled them. Then they fouled 3 more times on the inbounds pass. Now they're down to 3.9 seconds left. St. John's scored just as the final buzzer sounded and they won. The player who scored the winning basket hadn't hit a shot all game.

My first trip to Hawaii, I went to Duke's in Honolulu and it was on Sunday. I was with my late friend Ted, who used to post here on BN as Surf'nT (I think that's how it was spelled). Henry Kapono was performing. I saw Charleston come into Duke's. A little later Jimmy Buffett went out to the stage and sang Margaritaville with Henry. With the time difference between Hawaii and the east coast I didn't call anyone. I figured since the next day was a work day I would probably be waking up however I called.
