Come What May MONDAY @ the MSC
Good morning BN. I run songs through my head while on the elliptical and Cowboy in the Jungle is one, but only the first part. I haven't memorized the whole song.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good Morning Everyone.
Last night we watched Remarkably Bright Creatures (on nexflix) featuring Sally Field....it was EXCELLENT !
Off to chair yoga soon and then probably to the beach.
Enjoy your day!

There's a cowboy in the jungle
And he looks so out of place
With his shrimp-skin boots and his cheap cheroots
His skin as white as paste
Headed South to Paraguay
Where the Gauchos sing and shout
But he got stuck in Porto Bello
When his money all ran out
Now he hangs out with the sailors
Night and day they're raisin' hell
And his original destination's
Just another story that he loves to tell
With no plans for the future
He still seems in control
From a bronco ride to a ten-foot tide
He just had to learn to roll
Rolled with the punches, played all of his hunches
Make the best of whatever came his way
What he lacked in ambition, he made up with intuition
Plowin' straight ahead, come what may
Steel band in the distance
And their music floats across the bay
While American women in mumus
Talk about all the things they did today
Their husbands quack about fishing
As they slug those rum drinks down
Discussing who caught what and who sat on whose butt
But it's the only show in town
They tryin' to drink all the punches, they all may lose their lunches
Tryin' to cram lost years into five or six days
It seems their intuition was blinded by ambition
Plowin' straight ahead, come what may
But I don't want to live on that kind of island
No, I don't want to swim in a roped-off sea
It's too much for me, it's too much for me
'Cause I've got to be where the wind and the water are free
Alone on a midnight passage
I can count the falling stars
While the Southern Cross and the satellites
They remind me of where we are
Spinning around in circles
Tryin' living it just day to day
Maybe 90 good years, I got 24 hours
It's not bad long a stay
You've gotta roll with the punches, play all of our hunches
Makin' the best of whatever comes my way
Forget that blind ambition, always trust your intuition
Plowin' straight ahead, come what may
And there's a cowboy in the jungle

Re: Come What May MONDAY @ the MSC
Good morning Bill, Debbie, Linda, and Mr. SPH!!
Weird sleep again last night, but at least I didn't get up as early as the last couple of days.
It's raining out there (YAY) but only 44 degrees, and getting down to freezing overnight. More rain expected over the next couple of days. (YAY)
I did more yesterday than I expected to, so I WILL take it easier today. Just have a couple of pictures that I have to adjust their positions.
Enjoy the beach, Linda!
And thank you, as always, Mr. SPH!!

Good morning peoples.
I'm moving slow this morning, didn't sleep well last night. I have to decide what to do today. The HOA quarterly meeting is this afternoon but I usually only go to the annual meeting in February. I've been to a few of the quarterly meetings and they never discuss anything important. Maybe I'll pass and go enjoy the nice weather instead.

Glad I have a garage now... The temperatures are falling this afternoon, and we're supposed to get a bit of snow later this afternoon and overnight. Fun Fun... ![beadygrinner [smilie=beadygrinner.gif]](./images/smilies/beadygrinner.gif)

Re: Come What May MONDAY @ the MSC
The road trip continues.... We took the ferry back from Sicily to Villa San Giovanni and then drove up to Ravello on the Amalfi Coast. Ravello is a small town, founded in the fifth century, that's about 1,200' up the side of the hill from the Amalfi/Positano craziness. We're staying at a small B&B for a few days before heading back to Rome to catch our non-stop Alaska Airlines flight home.
The Duomo de Ravello was built in the 11th century and is dedicated to St. Pantaleone, Ravello's patron saint.

Just another day on the Mediterranean Sea....

We didn't have a clue when we started up these steps last night, but there are 187 of them up to the city center.

Re: Come What May MONDAY @ the MSC
Off to a (different) hand surgeon today.
I am not hopeful that he can undo the issues that I blame on the original surgeon but I'll let him (I think it is a him) have a Captain Cook and then I'll see what he says.
The other hand is slowly healing, my elbow hurts and my foot is not really getting better yet not getting worse! (Also my head hurts, my feet stink and I have never believed in Jesus).
The puppy is testing my patience. Being a working breed he needs LOTS of exercise and LOTS of stimulation. I guess the effect of walking him miles everyday means I am losing weight and I have found some interesting backroads near our village. We also now know where every dog, sheep, cow, donkey and horse lives in the local area!
I have been trying to contact the elders of the traditional owners from here (Peramangk and Ngadjuri people) as there are some area of the creek lines that freak the puppy out. I want to ask if it might be where some of "the old people" (spirits) may be. I have tried to talk to the old people as we move through those areas and sometimes it works to calm the dog but I want to find out more about that history of the area and if we can be introduced.

Hey all!
SPH - Awesome pictures!
Another pizza party at work today. 5 slices is the record for me
In Other News: it's going to be hot here! Two 90 degree days (95 tomorrow). Gotta stay hydrated.

Re: Come What May MONDAY @ the MSC
Well gave Rasppy and Nicholas a scare. Saturday night had 4 episodes of seizures. Edith said I let out a scream (which can happen) lip was bit and breathing poorly. Didn't wake up Sunday. But I did today
She said entire Saturday I was in hospital. I woke up once and called my sister Nicholas. We'll, they have long hair. Unconscious again and woke up in a private room at cancer center. Getting MRI tomorrow? Rule out cancer or something.
However I haven't eating much due to taste buds screwed by chemo. So hopefully it was the sugar dropping below 50 that almost caused me see who is God.
