When was your FIRST JB concert?
When was your LAST JB concert?
What was your FAVORITE JB concert?

My FIRST was 1996, Fiddlers Green, Colorado.
My LAST was 2018, Coors Field, Colorado, with the Eagles.
My FAVORITE was 2016 at Red Rocks.

First show was November 2001 at The Palace of Auburn Hills
Last show not counting last year's CRB show at Pine Knob was Sept 2021 at Pine Knob which was a late addition by JB
to the concert schedule, so thankful for that.
Favorite.....Can't definitively peg one. Different favs for different reasons.

Which I've just now realized. I rarely saw Jimmy in Houston, but I started and ended there. Weird.

Best? No way. I can't pick one - actually, maybe I can. Frisco 2007. I still have a Feeding Frenzy cup right here on my desk from that one. But it might have been the Great Woods not-quite-hurricane show (that was 2008, but it rained a lot in 2009, too - that was an adventure for sure). Or the one where my now partner showed up to surprise me after flying across the country. Or the one where she got really upset by a song for personal reasons and myself and our other friend just held her tight until it passed. There was the one when he finally played Migration. But yeah. Too many. Thanks, Jimmy. Thanks, Phriends.

favorite - MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, NV, April 15, 2000 (This was the first time I ever traveled to a Buffett concert, it was on my birthday, he did several songs that I rarely heard live and he closed the show with Viva Las Vegas.)

Favorite. I only missed his last full tour and Beach House tour so the most favorite were the shows pre 2004.

Favorite: 9/6/2008 Great Woods, MA (Tropical Storm Hanna; show bumped up to 3pm). JB and the CRB achieved another level due to the storm.

That one is a tie for second for me, Jimmy was directly behind us for the open!!
But in 1999 we were treated to Club Trini performance before the show, inside the gates, right off the food area outside the venue itself, and JImmy "snuck" into their set behind a fan's HUGE Buffett Head! I was right in front and it was the closest I had been to him, until 2 years later. It was also when I met a fellow VPHCer when we recognized each others "screen name" tags! Good times!!

First Concert: July 1987 at Pine Knob
Last Concert: Same as Ken-September 2021 in the cold wet rain. People brought small fire pits and were roasting marshmallows and drinking spiked hot chocolate. Took my keet Sophie for her second Buffett concert. Brendan technically was at the Palace in 2001 since I was pregnant with him at the time

Like others have said, I have so many favorites for so many reasons--travelling to Chicago to meet up with Parrothead friends I chatted with on ISOBuffett on Prodigy was definitely up there. Our crew of up to 20 played around in the Windy CIty twice--toured around a bunch of bars, went to museums, and looked for Harry Carey at a Cubs game. Many of us met up in February 2001 for a long weekend concert in West Palm Beach Florida. We rented an RV and drove to Key West after the Saturday concert--we saw the Thin Line between Saturday night and Sunday morning. Good times!

The Comerica Concert in 2012 was oodles of fun as we sent ourselves on a Swag Scavenger Hunt around the bars in Detroit. It is amazing what people will give you when you ask....Standing in the infield while Bubba riled us up into a frenzy was definitely fun! Of course, the Pine Knob shows always were a blast--starting in the Park and Ride early in the morning and having so many people coming in that I-75 started to get blocked up and they had to open the parking lot early was ALWAYS worth it. It was always a goal to get the lots open before noon. I think we accomplished it once or twice. Seeing Club Trini in the parking lot before the show was always something so special. I loved when they would just set up and start playing. Those pre-tequila, beer, and tons of swag days sure were amazing.

Anytime I was able to meet BN folk in person was wonderful. It was always fun to try to find OMiTT. Ken and I always sought each other out as well.

Man, we really had something special.

Yeah... that was my "No Plane on Sunday" show Ted had a ticket for me, but Jim was traveling out of town VERY early Monday, (like a 6 AM flight out of Logan, early ) so I needed to be home Sunday to get the kids off to school Monday morning. Because it was the end of February vacation week up here, there were no flights available on Sunday.... To say I was bummed is an understatement...
