Good Morning Campers!
Hope you're able to make it a Perfect Margarita Thursday if you so desire.
My preference was always a frozen margarita, but I certainly wouldn't turn down unfrozen if offered.

There is a Peter Mayer show tonight about an hour down the road at a Country Club near Ann Arbor. It's scheduled to be
an outdoor event, however thunderstorms are in the forecast so I'm not sure if there is a backup plan. I suppose I
need to check on it & consider trekking down there. If I make the run I'll report back!

I slept about an hour past what I usually do. I most often wake up between 6:00 - 6:30. Today was 7:30. But I didn't fall asleep until about 11:30.

I just looked at my calendar on my phone, and I have a Dr. appointment at 10:00, and I completely forgot!!

Off to the shower and drink lots of water, cause I have a blood draw.

The Pelicans finally won a game last night. They had lost 18 of their last 21 games, including 8 in a row.

I have an appointment to donate blood at 11:30. Between whole blood and platelets I've had 4 or 5 appointments this year and my hemoglobin was too low every time so I couldn't donate. I hope it's high enough today but if it isn't I have a backup plan.

We’re on the beach for about 2 hrs now. Awesome wind to keep us cooler. The water is actually an acceptable temp.

I was able to donate today. The blood drive was at the mall, when I got out of my car I reached in my pocket to make sure I had my blood donor card and I forgot my wallet. I have the Red Cross blood donor app on my phone and my digital donor card is in the app, that's good enough for ID for the Red Cross. If I hadn't been able to donate my backup plan wouldn't have worked. I was going to go out for lunch, can't do that without money or a credit card.

The drive is sponsored by one of the local TV stations but I won't see myself on the 6:00 news. Well, unless I get arrested between now and then and I'm doing the perp walk. I didn't see any reporters or cameramen. There was a car with the station's logo on it in the parking lot when I left but I didn't see anyone inside.

We're gonna put your wallet on a chain around your neck, Larry. Glad you were able to donate, tho.
