Good morning Linda and BN!
7:30 am here, sun is shining and it's 66 degrees.
(Heading to low 90's)
I have a new printer coming today. This one will scan/fax/copy/print. Much needed for things I have to do often.
Haven't heard any fireworks last night or this morning.
Have a good Sunday!

Good morning Linda and Penny.
I didn't hear too many fireworks last night. The subdivision behind me set some off between 9:00-10:00 but that was about it. Once they were done it was a quiet rest of the night.
I watched The Godfather for a little while, it was on Showtime, but it didn't start until 10:00 and it's a 3 hour movie so I didn't watch all of it. I didn't record it on the DVR either. It's not like I haven't seen it a gazillion times already.

Re: Sunny SUNDAY @ the MSC
We had several groups of homes that set off fireworks last night and all were done by midnight which shocked us.
Quite a few events from our former hometown were cancelled due to severe t-storms resulting in lost power from many downed tree limbs.
Weâre staying in the AC today. Will start going through our list of moves/shows from numerous friend recommendations.
Stay cool,dry, and comphy today.

Re: Sunny SUNDAY @ the MSC
Well, that was a nice surprise. Sarah texted me around 9:30, and asked if I wanted to go out to breakfast with her and Cameron. So we did! I had a bacon/cheese omelet with hash browns and an English muffin. YUM. Cameron had a bacon burrito, and it had the best green chili on it. Sarah had blueberry pancakes with a side of bacon, and EVERYTHING was GREAT!!
We all had leftovers.

Hi there! I heard Mac tell Zach on RM that Jimmy would call him, laughing as he answered. Siri butchered Mac's last name which sounded more like a proctological term.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Taking it easy on this lazy Sunday. We made biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast. Then I did a load of laundry. Not much else happening here today, it's 86* but feels like 103*. I'm happy in my deep freeze AC with a light blanket over my legs and my margarita.
Have a wonderful Sunday!

I hope you mean acres? (Or is more than 80% of the state on fire?)
The total area of the state of Colorado is 104,185 square miles....

You know youâre getting old when âfriends with benefitsâ means having someone who can drive at nightâŚ.

Over the years I've seen a lot of places with HOG in the name but I don't remember ever going to any of them. There was a place in NYC called The Hog Pit, or something like that. It was across the street from Hill Country BBQ, a Texas themed BBQ joint that also had live music. I went to Hill Country a few times but never the Hog place.SMLCHNG wrote: July 5, 2026 3:06 pm For you, Larry. We drove past this place (on the way to Breckenridge) 12 years ago.

We just had our own scare right now. Crash on the highway that runs right in front of the apartment complex. The crash caused a fire, and we watched a fire department helicopter make 5 runs to the reservoir just a few miles away, and numerous emergency vehicles on the highway. WHEW!!!

My friend down in The Springs had a similar fire-fright... this one caused by idiotic neighbors and fireworks! They set their grass and a wooden fence on fire. The blaze was about to jump to their neighbor's house, but luckily, the CSFD got it out just in time!

Hey everyone! Just made it back to Bellingham after a tumultuous ride. 95 and all the outlets/side roads near Kittery were backed up. The Bridge was stuffed, so I took a detour...cruisin down US 1
94 was the highest recorded speed today (for me) while I was listening to Gentleman of Leisure.
