Good morning BN!

Running the dishwasher this morning. Gonna run to the grocery store for a few things later. But not much later, cause it'll be too hot.

Then start a little packing for my dog sitting stay starting tomorrow.

Have a good Saturday! :)

Good afternoon Penny.

I saw an article online this morning about a guy in England who has collected one beer from each of the 48 countries in the World Cup. When a country loses and is eliminated, he drinks that country's beer as a toast to them. There's a picture of him with the 48 bottles and cans arranged on a table in front of him. The American beer in the picture is PBR.

Just for laughs, and because I didn't have anything else to do on a Saturday morning, I made a list of the 48 countries in the World Cup. Over the years I've had beers from 24 of them.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

The American beer should NOT be PBR!!

And you've had far more beers from other countries than I have!

Hello Larry and Penny!

I am sitting in South Station right now. With a chickfila sandwich and those strange waffle fries. Desk person butchered my name: Jered...

The tall ships were neat. Old Ironsides fired her cannons :D

The train's been rocking and tossing back and forth. It is packed to the brim.

All while a ton of babies are wailing. And the conductor's on the intercom apologizing for the 5 minute pauses per station. I only hear "Blub blub blub sorry blub blub..."

The speakers must be messed up  I'm having a good time nonetheless.

The only World Cup beer that I have in my refrigerator right now is some Stella Artois, but I'm not sure if I should attribute it to Belgium or USA, it was brewed in St. Louis..... :-?

I will be waiting tonight

I'm gonna show you what my love can do

Thank you, Mr SPH!! :D Another one of my favorites.

I currently have no beer in my fridge, but I do have wine and vodka. :P

Yesterday I saw the lead Maintenance guy (Yoel, who has been SOOO kind and helpful since I lost E) and asked him if there was a product I could use to shine up my floors again. He said they got it from Amazon, and would send me the name later. About 4:30 yesterday he was at my door, and handed me a bottle of it. It worked GREAT! :) Floors are pretty again. It didn't fix SOME scratches, but I'm pleased. :D

Hi there! I towed 20 miles to find the river muddy. Recent downpours in spots caused it. We got1/10 of an inch.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

I'm OK with PBR representing the US... it was my Dad's go-to brew! I always wonder what he would think about it now being a "hipster" choice...
Honestly, there are not all that many true American-brewed beers these days, but I am surprised he did not go with Sam Adams!

You inspired me to go take inventory of what's in the "Magic Fridge" out in our garage.
Right now, we have Guinness, Dos Equis, Red Stripe, Molson Golden, Stella Artois, and Leinenkugels. The last one was a suggestion from someone here when I said I did not have any American beer in my fridge... I bought a case in October for a party, and I'm down to just 3 bottles left.

Good Evening everyone.

We took our first trip to Buc-ees today. With Dave n Sue our good neighbor friends. That place is hard to describe. We each got one of their smoked meat sandwiches. They are amazing! It was absolutely packed and it was terrible to maneuver but everyone in the place was patient. Cars were actually blocking traffic waiting to get in.

A lady I was standing in line with said she was there on Thursday (not sure why just 2 days earlier but whatever) said it was pretty empty.

It was just about a 4-hr round trip (traffic was pretty tight a few places) and I’m not sure I’d drive that far for Buc-ees again but if it was close by. 😄

There are plans for building a Buc-ees in Mansfield, OH in the next year or so. Mansfield is about an hour away from us and we prefer to go to the Sam's club in Mansfield over Columbus, so we're kinda excited to get to go when it opens.

I have to make a correction to this... we had beer tonight with some brats, and I realized the beer I bought on recommendation back in October was Yuengling, not Leinenkugels, after all. Oops! Those 3 bottles were shoved to the back of the fridge, and I was going by memory Saturday rather than moving the others to be sure!
