We had some MUCH needed rain overnight. When I woke up the temp was 80 - the humidity was 80 -- UGH .
Off to chair yoga today and then we will attempt to hang 1 of 2 shades we bought for the Carolina Room - this one facing the pond. Our friends have the same type of porch & had 2 installed. They work great so we thought we'd try the same thing. However, they paid someone to hang theirs.
That's it for us today -- what does everyone else have going on????

Happy Monday!
Good Morning Linda & those to come!
Good luck with the shades, sounds like you're looking forward to getting them up & reaping the benefits. Sorry about the heat & humidity.
We're getting the dial turned up on our heat today leading into a shake & bake week. A/C will be King this week.
Busy day at work today as I'll be taking tomorrow off for the cataract surgery. Time to let it rip!
Enjoy all !!

Hi there! Tomorrow afternoon can't come quick enough. I'm on a liquid diet for a colonoscopy and endoscopy Tuesday AM. I drink half my prep at 6 then the other half at 2AM! It's gonna be a bumpy night.

I'm thinking a "loose" night is more like it.
Good luck Bill

Good afternoon Linda, Ken, Charles, Debbie, Jerry, and Bill!
Busy afternoon and this morning at my sisters. I made dinner, and they liked it!! Then we just hung out afterwards. This morning they were getting things ready for their little mini-trip with their HUGE trailer. They'll be back on Thursday. And I get paid.
It's HOT HOT HOT here, mid to upper 90's, and no rain in sight for the next week.
And I'm working on another puzzle. My sister has a LOT of them, even after selling a bunch at a recent community garage sale.
Sorry to hear about Sam Neill, I liked him as an actor.
Bill, good luck tomorrow - I've been through several of those.
Linda, hope the blind hanging goes well.
Good luck to you too, Ken!

Back in 1998 NBC did a miniseries called Merlin, about Merlin the Magician (I had to look that up, I didn't remember what year it was). Sam Neill played Merlin. My office was in 30 Rock, which is NBC's headquarters, and they did a big promotion for Merlin in Rockefeller Plaza. Sam Neill was there, he was a very distinguished looking man.

He did come across that way to me in his acting too, Larry.

Busy day for me. Read a chapter of Ulysses. Scratched myself and did some crossword puzzles. Phew.
Nicholas finishes his 9 day Spain trip on Wednesday.

UGH! I will say that benefit of the one of the weird allergies I have developed (to PEG) I can't do that vile prep stuff! Quel domage! For my last colonoscopy I was given pills by the gastroenterologist to take with just water, it was SOOOOO much better.
Hope your night and procedure goes off OK, (as OK as that possibly can be...)and that you have good results!
MOOG!! Good to see you in here! Ulysses?! Yikes! More power to you!
Penny - Have fun with your nieces! Are you Sister and BiL going far in there RV? The "mini-trip" thing sounds like this was a "test run" for them.
And yes...sad news about Sam Neill...while I've seen him in a few things, he will always be Dr. Alan Grant to me.

Not far, mostly because there are too many fires around. About 90 minutes South of home. They've done these kind of trips before, they just want to do as many as they can during good weather.

That place has a lot of locations, and the menu looks good!! (I'll skip the piranhas).

The last one I had I got to just take MiraLAX and Dulcolax. MUCH better than that stuff to drink!!!
